All digital cameras are sensitive to IR light so the manufacturers have to place an IR filter between the lens and the sensor to make the image/video look normal. If you remove this IR filter, and replace it with a piece of 'exposed & developed film' (which allows IR light but filters out normal visible light), the camera is then capable of seeing in IR. Now, if you turn on the night vision capability (which amplifies the IR light even more). PLEASE MAKE ONE AND KEEP POINTING IT AT THE NIGHT SKY

Looks like they took all these camera and put them in airport scanners and sold it from 400 dollar per camera to 20,000 per camera to gov good job
