  • Dear Sir!

I would appreciate if You find the time to check out my version:

    /watch?v=lLyWLj1ZHUg&feature=channel_video_title

  • Very nice! But I don't think I'll ever figure out the fingering

  • great

  • Really good stuff, thanks a lot for sharing this great version of an ever living song.

the tutorial is so useful, its almost like sitting with you in the living room, and asking please can you show me again.

  • absolutly cracking..learn such a lot from you

  • Thanks for your skills, the time you take for sharing and your sweet smile at the end of your performances!

  • wonderful! thanks for the tutorial, the chords, now I have to work hard on my guitar :-) just have been in a concert of tommy emmanuel (on stage in berlin) it was not as good as your basin street blues private performance here

  • I subscribed to you a while ago while following Mike Herberts tutorials. It is a pleasure to hear you playing again. I really enjoy your posts. Please keep loading them when you can. Your playing makes my ears happy.

  • you´re back.

this one is a milestone again in your tube history.

after all the other instruments you playing the last time, i see your guitar blues/jazz tutorials at most.

it´s very professional and emotional too.

    a pleasure to see this.

    best regards

    frank

  • Phat ! great job picking the melody!

  • There's no pattern really. What I'm doing is keeping rhythm going on the chords - while at the same time adapting the chords subtly so that the melody line strings stand out from the other strings. There's a real difference between just strumming the chords and picking out the melody - because melody lines cut across chords. :-)

  • I see. It's very difficult for me now to achieve this.

Anyways these songs are very inspiring to keep trying.

    Thanks.

  • Excellent! I read the history of this blues and how the lyrics were changed.

I'll give it a try at least to learn the chords.

I would like to understand how the finger picking pattern is created out of the chords...that puzzles me completely.
