This speaker is good cuz it catches at all the highs in ur music, but it lacks in terms of loudness.. I have an apple boombox that's the same size as this one that I've been using an it is extremely louder than this shit... Yet I have the beatbox too I bought on black Friday. It's absolutely perfect, but it's not portable. Also can't use it with the older iPod shuffle and you can plug your laptop to it with the 3.5mm jack and I also hooked this up to my TV via 3.5mm jack (my LG 42" LED HDTV has a 3.5mm jack so I could hook this up to my computer or TV whenever I wanted) I am pretty sure you could also get a wire that has the audio jack cable on one end and a 3.5mm jack (I have one that I use) so you can hook the 3.5mm jack to the tv and the audio jack to the TV.

@ThePiggyDude it depends on the most important. if the key is the quality of the sound. so is B & W Zeppelin air the best option. I've heard both. I have a zeppelin air. Monster beatbox can play a lot louder than zeppelin air. zeppelin air can play pretty loud too. beatbox and monsters have a pretty aggressive treble.

if it is not a problem, you will do a good buy.
