I'm not sure why I enjoyed this but it was fun : P

I wish I could spend my time building models instead of training for games.

But good model kits are pricey and hard to come by.

otherwise I would definitely get PG Strike Freedom and/or 00 Raiser.

I just like the PG hands. that is the main reason I only like PG. that type of hand comes with No Grade Exia too and I'm not sure which other kits. Also I feel like I should only buy the Bandai kits for some reason xP oh well, good review!

the finished product may look nice, but its inner frame is lacking...

the pieces should have been smaller, to make it look more elaborate, feels like a jumbo sized mg DX

@GNSquacker xP 00 Raiser is probably my favorite gundam.

and I think it's a nice kit. I don't buy much anyway. If any model kit I would buy it would have to be the PG SF or 00 Raiser.

@Itsnameisgundam I highly recommend the PG Astray Red Frame... it's much better regarded than the 00 Raiser, which has weight/balance issues, and it's cheaper than the 00 (I bought it off japanese Amazon for $150 while I was vacationing in Tokyo)

@ghostdein1 You could've bought it in a store in Tokyo which would've been cheaper. Those 1/60 macross valkyires that go for like 300 bucks online? I saw some for 60,000(essentially 60 bucks) in Yodobashi-akiba.

I have a question. When I tired making the Titanium Version, I find it that the special coating is really easy to scratch. I messed up a lot on the arms and I am probably going to find another one to try again at it. How do you remove excess plastic without scratching the special coating?

unless you make a custom mix of bottled paints and use that..

So what would you recommend to make the custom mix for Unicorn? Also what would you recommend to use on the extra finish version of Freedom?

@KiraSasaki bro, the only advice i can give you is try out your own

custom mixes, TEST IT ON THE RUNNER, NOT A PART, OR YOULL BE PISSED

maybe silver white,, pearl white, pearl clear..

mix those

@GNSquacker get a normal 1/100 unicorn and just spray gloss topcoat o_o it looks pretty similar and its cheaper

their is a MAJOR DIFFERENCE

between white and titanium white

if i actually bought the regular version

you would see the difference

gloss coat makes the color shinier, it doenst alter the color altogether

Paint it 15% grey shade + gloss coat and voila.

Now the titanium red finish on Sinanju is a whole diff thing.

A small correction: the head of the unicorn does have vulcans. If you watch a review of the 1/48 (?) unicorn head stand you will be able to see them better. Cool review.

Hey again GNSquaker. The new reviews are looking a lot better. Inspiring me to start doing reviews myself, whenever I get around to buying a half decent camera that is.

That's a shame about the back skirt breaking. I've had some mishaps too throughout my Gunpla building, just teaches you to be more careful. :)

Have you seen the two new HGUC versions of the Unicorn yet? They look fantastic for high grades. You should check them out if you haven't!
