I guess because mas nababagay kay Lady Soya yung song rather than kay Soseono. Di mo ba pansin sa series ng Jumong na after nang war na akala nila patay na si Lady Soya with her son, every after victorios war you can still see the sadness in his eyes. There was even a scene na he separated himself from the crowd and stood alone deeply thinking tapos sunod naman ng sunod si Soseono sa kanya. I know he was still hurting thinking of his wife and child. despite the victorious war.

that's undeniable, Jumong loved Soseono then. Didn't you watch when he proposed to Soseono saying that their past maybe hard to resolve but if their marriage will unite a country then they would get married. He loved them both, coz they both played an important role for Jumong's success. Had Lady Soya been selfish, Jumong wouldn't have gone that far. One has to suffer and sacrifice inorder to achieve the goal. Jumong is a wise man, I believe he did love his wife.
