Indians are an intelligent people, but the country is an absolute mess. Corruption is rife, roads are horrendous, yet they keep building new airports and shopping malls. I have several relatives who visits recently and stated that they would not consider going back to India. Zoning laws are unheard of. Its economic growth will eventually stagnate and fall if it cannot address these underlying problems.
On the other hand i hv known people who are stayin in Usa and want to come back asap...

Traffic is definitely crazy over there. The bad part is, my cousin's car stalled in the middle of it all. Fortunately there were some nice people that helped us push it off the main road.

Dudee.....Now the traffic situation is become worse in Bangalore because of METRO constuction..... It normally takes 50 mins to cover 10 - 12 Kms lol
I'd prefer to take a bike instead of car...atleast u can reach the destination much faster

the biggest problem in india is the size of their cities. their cities are too small to hold such large populations. 19 million people live in mumbai and 20 million people live in new york city. but pop. density of new york city is 1000 while mumbai is 8000

if this train service starts, and increased the BMTC frequency to destination with out touching mejestic market shivaji nagar, Like 401, 60A 176, on 66 route no other bus running with this route this is superb root. this wont touch mejestic. becaue all old people are there in transport that is the problem they are still thinking of 1947, they should take the public survey they can avoid the traffic inside bangalore.
& all the riders and driver should fallow the lanes no ZIGZAG

No train service, towards east they have AC traction up to Madras, so they can run some EMU's(Electrical Multiple units)Local trains as mumbai in between white field to Kengeri (kengeri is also AC tractioned) via KR Puram, cant, city RPC layout ,nayandahalli, kengeri.
in the same way north south is not AC traction so far so they can run some DMU's (Diesel MU)from hosur road to nagamangala side via marthhalli, krpuram, banaawadi, yeshwantpura, so they can plan like this no need of metro,

can see majority of Two wheeler, the main problem is no one will to travel by Buses, because no direct bus facility, for profit purpose BMTC are doing this, either we have to change bus in mejastic/market/shivajinagar.
should have diverted roots, buses should split on all roads some imp destinations bus frequency should increase. next is train facility,

infrastructure sucks. don't know where is all our tax paid money going, why don't we throw out these army bases, out of the city and broaden the roads, like on airport road etc, why do we need so much of land occupied by defence, why can't they go in outskirts, and leave this land, no one is taking right initiatives.

Less than 1/6 of the world lives in India. US population is more than 1/3 of India's. So the disparity in population is not as big as you think. Moreover, Tokyo's population density is greater than that of any Indian city, yet Tokyo's infrastructures are managing just fine. Let's not to even mention China, which is even more populated than India, and the Chinese cities have excellent infrastructure and transport systems. My point is: population is no excuse.
