This video actually declares nothing about intelligence. In truth, this is a brain trick designed to point how the mind skips learning things it already knows because it already knows them. much like a computer downloading a file. Counting six does not place your intelligence above or below "average" it simply states that your mind refuses to skip what it should be skipping. As for it being an IQ test? this has nothing to with it so dont worry if you only count 3.

It's because english is flawed. You don't pronounce the word oF as if there is an F in it, it sounds like there is a V in it because we say 'ov'

You know, this is nowhere near an IQ test, not that those have any validity after high school anyways.

Largely, this tests an effect of memory and recognition. We tend to ignore the smaller words and concentrate on the bigger words.

Basically, this means that if you found all 6 Fs on the first try, it means you are good at overlooking this. It does not have anything to do with actual intelligence.

Also, how do they know that three is the average? Just because its the mean that's not the same.
