I am convinced that with right marketing Giulietta would have done much better.

@TomazHilton Minis are made by BMW.That`s a huge difference.Fiat 500 are too small, too noisy, too unsafe for the US market at starting price of 16 000.It looks like Fiat 500 were not actually designed for the US market, it was simply places there.Its sales peaked earlier and are on decline ever since,and by many experts it is considered a flop.And sadly it is actually hurting a potential re-launch of Alfa Romeo in North American market.

I was on a Skoda vRS upload a few months ago - one of many he has been banned from - he was spouting outdated 25 year old skoda jokes - so i just commented on him to grow up, Skodas are quality these days and no one with any motoring knowledge sneers at the badge anymore and he launched a tirade of bloody trolling, saying I cant afford an alfa like his gtv or sportwagon - I can, thats the daft part - i have 3 skodas totalling £35k, 2 classics and a year old Octy vRS.

This video reveals clearly how nice were the REAL Giuliettas (Berlina, Sprint, Spider) in the '50 and '60! The most innovative second ("nuova") Giulietta of the '70 is just forgotten by the actual Alfa Romeo owners. The new so called "Giulietta" (alias Bravo) has nothing to do with Alfa Romeo! It is just a badly disguised FIAT. Hopefully this long during agony of Alfa Romeo will finish as soon as possible.

@danistepn I tempi cambiano, le auto anche. Ora persinola BMW sta abbandonando la trazione posteriore (la BMW City che debutterà nel 2014), perchè oramai questa è la richiesta del mercato. Personalmente non ha nulla da invidiare rispetto alla vecchia Giulietta, è un'auto bellissima! Quindi non giudicare contro troppa frettolosità le auto che ha fatto ora la FIAT. Tutte quante hanno avuto molto successo, soprattutto la nuova 500!

io ho una gtv 2.0 V6 turbo e devo dire che nonostante sia anteriore è divertentissima,assetto giusto,ottimo il V6...io credo che le Alfa si siano fermate al GTV salvo qualche cosa con la 156 e 147 gta
@caragnulo Erano altri tempi, al giorno d'oggi con tutta l'elettronica e i sistemi di sicurezza in auto di questo segmento e con queste potenze in gioco non senti la differenza, una TP sarebbe solo imprevedibile in condizioni estreme, cmq quest'auto come la mito e le altre non sa nemmeno cosa sia il sottosterzo. Con tutto il rispetto per le vecchie alfa TP la trovo un po uno spreco su un'auto di questo segmento.
adoro le alfa...anche se come motore secondo me erano imbattibili i vecchi T SPARK...ho una 156 t spark ed è tutta un'altra cosa rispetto ai motori usciti dopo...però alfa è sempre alfa!!!
@Witalia87 non mi parlare di vecchi motori tspark che mi metto a vomitare, la nostra 156 si e' rotta a 130.000 km. Se parliamo dei nuovi Motori Fiat con sistemi Multiair allora concordo che sono tra i migliori al mondo. I vecchi TSpark veniva prodotti da un Azienda in Australia di propieta GM.
@Alfista1988 guarda io ho una 156 tspark del 98 e va che è una bomba e non ha mai avuto problemi...la tengo sotto controllo ovviamente comunque paragonata ad una 156 + recente (guidata anche quella) di cilindrata simile ma non t spark ho sentito una differenza paurosa nella ripresa e nell'accellerazione...IL t spark è imbattibile secondo me come prestazioni....poi non dico che le altre fanno cagare per carità...alfa for ever...però personalmente la vedo così
@Witalia87 Ma io non sto dicendo che altri marchi sono migliori, solo che sul fatto dell affidabilita' qualcosa dietro ci sta sulle macchina italiane. Dopo che si era rotta la 156 ci siamo comprati la nuova Lancia Delta. Al primo giorno finestrino elettrico difettoso, il display impazzisce ad un tratto e segnala mancanza di benzina nonostante ci sia il pieno, un faro avanti e stato montato male. Insomma a questo punto ci credo che macchine italiane fanno cagare.
@Superraziel vai a leggere cosa c'e' scritto su wikipedia i motori twin spark delle Alfa venivano prodotti in Australia alla Holden Azienda di propieta' della GM. I motori poi venivano elaborati in Italia dove dici tu, ma il prodotto finito ce l ho ha dato la Holden! Tutti i motori sopra ai 1,8l di cilidrata sono ancora provenienti dall australia. La Fiat non ne sa costruire motori di grossa cilindrata a parte Ferrari e Maserati oltre ai 4 litri. i 2 e 3 litri la Fiat non li fa!
@Superraziel beh strano, comunque se non credi a me che ho lavorato alla Fiat di Dortmund sede principale nel Nordreno Westfalia allora fai da te. Vai su google e digita Motori Alfa Romeo provenienti dalla Holden e ne troverai a raffica. Ciao
@Alfista1988 stai confondendo le TS con le JTS. Le 2.2 JTS e 3.2 V6 vengono fatte dalla Holden in Australia e non le Twin Spark. Cmq la FIAT li sta rimpiazzando con motori fiat (e.g. 1.8 TB)

@Marcovin100 Ho avuto una golf IV 1.9 TDI per 4 anni, comprata km.0 quindi come nuova, una vera delusione, solo problemi (frizione, volano, clima, cruscotto, consumi olio, alzavetri, e tante altre cose) venduta per disperazione e comprato una grande punto 1.4 t-jet da due anni e sono contentissimo, per ora 40000 km nemmeno un problema, alla faccia di chi denigra fiat e tutto il gruppo.. saluti

I am not trying to hate or something...But,am I the only one that was actually a bit disappointed with the Alfa Romeo Giulietta...I excepted it to be a bit more special,a bit more beautiful (159 is much more beautiful)...I like Alfa Romeo but Giulietta was a legend of a car i expected this car to be much more different than other cars in this class....So,am I the only one that is a bit disappointed??????

This video reveals clearly how nice were the REAL Giuliettas (Berlina, Sprint, Spider) in the '50 and '60! The most innovative second ("nuova") Giulietta of the '70 is just forgotten by the actual Alfa Romeo owners. The new so called "Giulietta" (alias Bravo) has nothing to do with Alfa Romeo! It is just a badly disguised FIAT. Hopefully this long during agony of Alfa Romeo will finish as soon as possible.

@danistepn I tempi cambiano, le auto anche. Ora persinola BMW sta abbandonando la trazione posteriore (la BMW City che debutterà nel 2014), perchè oramai questa è la richiesta del mercato. Personalmente non ha nulla da invidiare rispetto alla vecchia Giulietta, è un'auto bellissima! Quindi non giudicare contro troppa frettolosità le auto che ha fatto ora la FIAT. Tutte quante hanno avuto molto successo, soprattutto la nuova 500!

io ho una gtv 2.0 V6 turbo e devo dire che nonostante sia anteriore è divertentissima,assetto giusto,ottimo il V6...io credo che le Alfa si siano fermate al GTV salvo qualche cosa con la 156 e 147 gta

@caragnulo Erano altri tempi, al giorno d'oggi con tutta l'elettronica e i sistemi di sicurezza in auto di questo segmento e con queste potenze in gioco non senti la differenza, una TP sarebbe solo imprevedibile in condizioni estreme, cmq quest'auto come la mito e le altre non sa nemmeno cosa sia il sottosterzo. Con tutto il rispetto per le vecchie alfa TP la trovo un po uno spreco su un'auto di questo segmento.

@Witalia87 non mi parlare di vecchi motori tspark che mi metto a vomitare, la nostra 156 si e' rotta a 130.000 km. Se parliamo dei nuovi Motori Fiat con sistemi Multiair allora concordo che sono tra i migliori al mondo. I vecchi TSpark veniva prodotti da un Azienda in Australia di propieta GM.

@Alfista1988 guarda io ho una 156 tspark del 98 e va che è una bomba e non ha mai avuto problemi...la tengo sotto controllo ovviamente comunque paragonata ad una 156 + recente (guidata anche quella) di cilindrata simile ma non t spark ho sentito una differenza paurosa nella ripresa e nell'accellerazione...IL t spark è imbattibile secondo me come prestazioni....poi non dico che le altre fanno cagare per carità...alfa for ever...però personalmente la vedo così

@Witalia87 Ma io non sto dicendo che altri marchi sono migliori, solo che sul fatto dell affidabilita' qualcosa dietro ci sta sulle macchina italiane. Dopo che si era rotta la 156 ci siamo comprati la nuova Lancia Delta. Al primo giorno finestrino elettrico difettoso, il display impazzisce ad un tratto e segnala mancanza di benzina nonostante ci sia il pieno, un faro avanti e stato montato male. Insomma a questo punto ci credo che macchine italiane fanno cagare.

@Superraziel vai a leggere cosa c'e' scritto su wikipedia i motori twin spark delle Alfa venivano prodotti in Australia alla Holden Azienda di propieta' della GM. I motori poi venivano elaborati in Italia dove dici tu, ma il prodotto finito ce l ho ha dato la Holden! Tutti i motori sopra ai 1,8l di cilidrata sono ancora provenienti dall australia. La Fiat non ne sa costruire motori di grossa cilindrata a parte Ferrari e Maserati oltre ai 4 litri. i 2 e 3 litri la Fiat non li fa!

@Alfista1988 stai confondendo le TS con le JTS. Le 2.2 JTS e 3.2 V6 vengono fatte dalla Holden in Australia e non le Twin Spark. Cmq la FIAT li sta rimpiazzando con motori fiat (e.g. 1.8 TB)

bella macchina vista dallo specchietto retrovisore impressiona ha anche un bel fianco, la 147 anche se a trazione anteriore é un kart da guidare uno spasso, speriamo che questa giulietta faccia altrettanto. (l'alfa era stata affossata dalla gestione statale,, figuriamoci)

E mi spiace, ma come designe la bmw (fatta in plastica) perderà molto al ritorno d'oro dell'alfa!

io ho 1 mercedes(clas B), una bmw, un alfa mito e un'audia A6! la migliore è in assoluto l'AUDI! nessuna bmw può qualcosa contro l'audi, mi spiace, nemmeno la serie 1 che ha mio papà. e lo dice lui che le guida praticamente tutte... io mi tengo forte la mia mito, perchè secondo me è bellissima, così come la nuova Giulietta (noi avevamo la prima al tempo).

@Marcovin100 Ho avuto una golf IV 1.9 TDI per 4 anni, comprata km.0 quindi come nuova, una vera delusione, solo problemi (frizione, volano, clima, cruscotto, consumi olio, alzavetri, e tante altre cose) venduta per disperazione e comprato una grande punto 1.4 t-jet da due anni e sono contentissimo, per ora 40000 km nemmeno un problema, alla faccia di chi denigra fiat e tutto il gruppo.. saluti
