Heres my rotation on marksmen and i pull 12k boss dps at lvl 82... Hunters mark - pet attack - serpent sting - Aimed shot - Steady shot - Aimed shot - steady x 3 - Chimera shot for burst/ refresh serp sting dot - reroll until boss is 20% health than use glyph of kill shot which will equal out to 2x killshots each 10 seconds instead of one Surv is horrible until you get huge amounts of mastery because 80% of your damage as of late is within your dots - Bosses resist fucks up your dps.
AS shot to blow all focus then about 3 Steady shots will give you almost max focus and when you pop off the 3rd Steady shot CS will be up then just rinse and repeat :3

Love this Video! Jst dingd 80 a few days ago... im a BM lover myself. but iv been told dps is aall about MM. Im not gonna bother gearing up at this stage. Im confused as to wat spec to use tho.. i do enjoy both! Deffo gonna be BM for solo and pvp!
Heyo Jordancee 5.7k GS 6k DPS on raiding dummy, I just now got around to looking at others opinions on MM and your vid is the only that actually makes sense and helps for MM. I came to the same conclusion took me longer then you lol but still, I am wondering is there any updates to maximize dps, because 6k dps just seems weak compaired to most other classes at my GS. 16% haste 44% crit 20% mastery
@amazingkiller77 to be honest you cant reely compare hunter dps to other classes on things like dummys etc ,, theres so many things to take into consideration .. class buffs (Kings on a ret / protadin) , class debuffs (Sunder armour on a warrior) proc's (DBW / WFS / Exaulted ashen ring / enchants such as moongoose etc / set bonuses ... so while on dummys you pull less but when infront of a boss you all have the same buffs / debuffs on the target ... check my other vids youl see hunters arnt weak

@dennizje yeh exactly what cakiftw says gem for agility .. try grab those socket bonuses stay hit capped then reforge all your crit to mastery .. iff there is no crit on a certain piece of gear just reforge the highest stat possible unless that happens to be hit rating .. fo addons you can go to my yogg +0 video and theres download links for all the addons + packs i use :D gl / hf

AND there are races which are able to interrupt, like bloodelves or tauren.
I play a dwarf mm, without having skilled silencing shot and having a tenacity pet and I come along quite well, but if you want to be on the safe way, skill the ss.
But if You're not raiding the lk in the normal mode I would recommend you not to skill it.
you could use the ss when you are picked. But since you should do enough dps to get him down before casting twice (scatter shot is used the first time) you do not have to waste your point.if you are not doing enough dps, you should use speedpotion or other cds.
Because currently I would guess most People do 25man raids there should enough interrupter to kick, and they can do way faster than hunters.

Not a very good spec. Pve hunters cant benefit from silencing shot anymore, so thats one waste of talent and marked of death is a pvp only x2 talents so better use them at resistance is futile x2 Other them that is a good video, shows a lot to people who know little about hunters. You can also cheak out my video with MM rotation (10K+ dps)
@ironbull2003 Rofl i got this spec from the best hunter in the world AND it was the recomended spec on WHU so yeh .... and i do need silencing shot as sometimes its needed to interupt ... think before you talk down someones spec :D
@TheJordancee1 Yea. Kripparrians spec no longer includes silencing shot. It isn't an awful thing to get due to the fact that its the only thing a hunter can get to interrupt the npc inside frostmourne in p3 on LK. But if your dps is fast enough, you can kill it before it needs to be interupted.

I do aggree with you in every point, but I would pick the one point spent in Silencing Shot and put it in Bombardement.
Reason why is because Silencing Shot does no longer dmg, of course you wont use your multishot often, but sometimes it does really nice dmg, like trash before Sindragosa. Or to Stack up the seed on the spirits in p3 at lk.
@LorenzBogdanovics see i would argue that depending on your raid make up u may need some sort of interupt especialy for example lich king normal phase 3 .. when u get ported into frostmourne u need to interupt the spirit ... i guess u could use scatter shot for the first one . but what about the 2nd imo silencing shot is a great point to pick up
@TheJordancee1 K, thanks. MM seems to be much better than Survival ATM. Survival either IS much lower or I just hadn't gotten the rotation down. BM is too hard to understand right now. MM seems like the best option. MM is pretty easy too. Have you tried all the specs thoroughly in 4.0.1? Is MM the best in terms of DPS & Easy-use?
@iiWolf MM has pretty much always been the raid spec in wrath with sv being viable but still not as good some people will argue this ofc :P but the numbers dont lie :D

forgot to mention this b4 but very nice video, did ICC as MM for the 1st time 2day and ur rotation part helped alot, 1 question tho, what glyphs u using, its the only thing i think u missed, id gone for steady shot, seroent sting and kill shot.

@Cezanne04 dont do aimed shot 1st. for a couple reasons..
1: aimed shot doesnt really hit that high as it could. idk how some people are getting 18k+ crits in some videos but i only manage about 6-9k crits which is just as good as a Chimera.
2: the casting time is wayyyy to slow.. i think its close to 3sec and in that 3 sec you can pop serpent sting-chimera-and 1 steady. all of those shots can equal up to 20k+ in damage. now if you can hit a 20k+ with aimed then go ahead. for me its rotation:)
@MrFruitrollups yeh and they also buffed chimera shot today so an aimed shot rotation is out of the question :D its looking like a hit it when it proccs spell :P
@MrFruitrollups not as part of a roation nescessarily but I still like aimed shot as an opener, it DOES do more damage than chimera at times and though its a slow cast time that's not an issue for the first shot of a fight a (if were talking PVE anwyay) as the target wont agro until tha cast time completes and the shot actually fires. After that point you only want to use it when master marksman procs and you get a freebie though.
@locutus9956 i would not advise opening with aimed at all because you are not the one pulling the tank is i would much rather spend the few seconds pre - pull to pre pot and get up your h mark etc
@loctutus9956 i also wouldnt advise opening with a aimed shot because before a pve fight your getting ready to transfer your aggro to the tank because the hunters pull so much aggro so your getting your misdirect up (not as long as it used to be) and your getting you cd's up (depending on fight) also it requires so much focus that you wont be able pop a serpent sting or chimera shot.. you would instantly have to go into steady shot part of your rotation... check out my vid. it may help
@MrFruitrollups is misdirect still in the game? Am still relearning as I recent rejoined WoW since the patch (my thoughts on aimed are mainly from prepatch experience though Im starting to come around to your point of view anwyay tbh and have not been opening with it lately.

How can people do so much dps? Im using pretty much same rotation as this guy does and i got Glyph of ArcS, KS and SS. Got almost 5.8k GS and doing around 7k dps on dummies :/ I mean how the hell can you do 13k dps on dummy @TheJordancee?
@TCG1337 the only way anyone could do that much dps on a dummy is to be fully buffed .. be attacking the lvl 60 dummy or something .. or is just straight luying to you i could probs get about 13 k dps iff i get a warrior to sunder / shattering throw a dummy and have buffes etc but its just not possible on a normal heroic dummy with no buffs or debufs
@TheJordancee1 another thing right after you do your 1st chimera shot and 2x steady shot. you can hit anywhere from 2-3 arcane shots depending on focus not 1-2. and when your aimed shot procs you should have enough focus at that point to do aimed shot then arcane shotx2 and go back to steady shotx2 and chimera
@MrFruitrollups yeh i noticed that also but sometimes in raids u need to save some exess focus for moving so that u can spam arcane while you move .. eg festergut .. running with spore or lich king .. running from shadow trap .. a great tip i have is (get a swing timer) when moving, as your swing timer reaches the top stop for about half a second to let your auto shot off .. more white damage = more win it seems alot of ppl dont know about this and it reely does make you a waay more efficiant
@TheJordancee1 for me i went from 11k to 13.2k on training dummy by adding in those extra shots .... also glyphs are a big deal..... for raid bosses have as follows
Glyph of Kill shot - allows a additional kill shot if your 1st one doesnt kill the target
Glyph of Steady shot - increases damage done by steady shot by 10%
Glyph of Arcane shot - increases damage done by arcane shot by 12%
@Cezanne04 You dont need improved serpent sting at Marksman couse it makes damge when you shoot it and MM hunter shoots serpent sting only once, at start, in battle. All other times MM hunter refresh Serpent sting with Chimera shot. Steady shot gives u more focus and it makes more dmg than normal weapon shot, thats why to use steady.

You could also work Kill Command in that rotation since you can use it while casting SS, instead of Stopping and using Arcane Shot...

I would guess that Kripp isnt raiding the LK in the normal mode anymore, so theres no need for an interrupt spell.

Pve hunters cant benefit from silencing shot anymore, so thats one waste of talent and marked of death is a pvp only x2 talents so better use them at resistance is futile x2 Other them that is a good video, shows a lot to people who know little about hunters. @TheJordancee1 Yea. Kripparrians spec no longer includes silencing shot. It isn't an awful thing to get due to the fact that its the only thing a hunter can get to interrupt the npc inside frostmourne in p3 on LK. But if your dps is fast enough, you can kill it before it needs to be interupted.

I do aggree with you in every point, but I would pick the one point spent in Silencing Shot and put it in Bombardement.
Reason why is because Silencing Shot does no longer dmg, of course you wont use your multishot often, but sometimes it does really nice dmg, like trash before Sindragosa. Or to Stack up the seed on the spirits in p3 at lk.

@LorenzBogdanovics see i would argue that depending on your raid make up u may need some sort of interupt especialy for example lich king normal phase 3 .. when u get ported into frostmourne u need to interupt the spirit ... i guess u could use scatter shot for the first one . but what about the 2nd imo silencing shot is a great point to pick up

@TheJordancee1 K, thanks. MM seems to be much better than Survival ATM. Survival either IS much lower or I just hadn't gotten the rotation down. BM is too hard to understand right now. MM seems like the best option. MM is pretty easy too. Have you tried all the specs thoroughly in 4.0.1? Is MM the best in terms of DPS & Easy-use?

forgot to mention this b4 but very nice video, did ICC as MM for the 1st time 2day and ur rotation part helped alot, 1 question tho, what glyphs u using, its the only thing i think u missed, id gone for steady shot, seroent sting and kill shot.

@Cezanne04 dont do aimed shot 1st. for a couple reasons..
1: aimed shot doesnt really hit that high as it could. idk how some people are getting 18k+ crits in some videos but i only manage about 6-9k crits which is just as good as a Chimera.
2: the casting time is wayyyy to slow.. i think its close to 3sec and in that 3 sec you can pop serpent sting-chimera-and 1 steady. all of those shots can equal up to 20k+ in damage. now if you can hit a 20k+ with aimed then go ahead. for me its rotation:)

@MrFruitrollups not as part of a roation nescessarily but I still like aimed shot as an opener, it DOES do more damage than chimera at times and though its a slow cast time that's not an issue for the first shot of a fight a (if were talking PVE anwyay) as the target wont agro until tha cast time completes and the shot actually fires. After that point you only want to use it when master marksman procs and you get a freebie though.

@loctutus9956 i also wouldnt advise opening with a aimed shot because before a pve fight your getting ready to transfer your aggro to the tank because the hunters pull so much aggro so your getting your misdirect up (not as long as it used to be) and your getting you cd's up (depending on fight) also it requires so much focus that you wont be able pop a serpent sting or chimera shot.. you would instantly have to go into steady shot part of your rotation... check out my vid. it may help

How can people do so much dps? Im using pretty much same rotation as this guy does and i got Glyph of ArcS, KS and SS. Got almost 5.8k GS and doing around 7k dps on dummies :/ I mean how the hell can you do 13k dps on dummy @TheJordancee?

@TCG1337 the only way anyone could do that much dps on a dummy is to be fully buffed .. be attacking the lvl 60 dummy or something .. or is just straight luying to you i could probs get about 13 k dps iff i get a warrior to sunder / shattering throw a dummy and have buffes etc but its just not possible on a normal heroic dummy with no buffs or debufs

I ve also found that putting 3 in the BM spec and 2 in the Surv spec can increse dps anywhere for 300 - 500 .. not much but its something

@TheJordancee1 another thing right after you do your 1st chimera shot and 2x steady shot. you can hit anywhere from 2-3 arcane shots depending on focus not 1-2. and when your aimed shot procs you should have enough focus at that point to do aimed shot then arcane shotx2 and go back to steady shotx2 and chimera

@MrFruitrollups yeh i noticed that also but sometimes in raids u need to save some exess focus for moving so that u can spam arcane while you move .. eg festergut .. running with spore or lich king .. running from shadow trap .. a great tip i have is (get a swing timer) when moving, as your swing timer reaches the top stop for about half a second to let your auto shot off .. more white damage = more win it seems alot of ppl dont know about this and it reely does make you a waay more efficiant

@TheJordancee1 for me i went from 11k to 13.2k on training dummy by adding in those extra shots .... also glyphs are a big deal..... for raid bosses have as follows
Glyph of Kill shot - allows a additional kill shot if your 1st one doesnt kill the target
Glyph of Steady shot - increases damage done by steady shot by 10%
Glyph of Arcane shot - increases damage done by arcane shot by 12%
any help just hit me up :D

@Cezanne04 You dont need improved serpent sting at Marksman couse it makes damge when you shoot it and MM hunter shoots serpent sting only once, at start, in battle. All other times MM hunter refresh Serpent sting with Chimera shot. Steady shot gives u more focus and it makes more dmg than normal weapon shot, thats why to use steady.
