Hey, a few months back, I found a link that you posted to a ringer version of this song, and have used it ever since. And then my phone crashed yesterday, and I can't seem to find the file. Do you have a link to it still? Thanks in advance. :D PS: fantastic concept and implementation for the video.
well moontrack sea of stars and tribeshymn are some of my fav music and regularly played here so thank you! are you hiding other published material away ?? I found these quite by accident!
Nice vid and obviously some nice gear there. Just wondering though. How much of a bonus is a machine drum if you already have a monomachine. I'm lucky enough to have the mono mk1 with keys but have never tried a machinedrum. From what the mono alone can do with it's drum synth i'm guessing a machine drum takes that a lot further.
See you have a carrier command vid up too...........
Funny enough i was just reading up on the machinedrum uw mk2. With the ability to load samples into it now it must be an (even more) impressive machine. Expensive.... But as getting to know the monomachine taught me, well worth paying out the bit extra for.
this video could be on the television, like, if they make a show about electronic music on the BBC .. twenty or more seconds of this would be perfect.
what i need to say is how excellent the editor is who did the edit. the shots are masterful, the sequences, sheer grace. i don't know who it was, however the standard of aesthetic guarantees they are industry professionals.
really nice music, reminds me of an AV track from "Hidden Partition" dvd from Lightrhythm visuals.
Funny and do like the sound as well.

An old favourite from my mis spent past :)

Absolutely. Don't get me wrong, the monomachine's drums are okay, but the machinedrum gives you a lot more freedom of expression.

Is this monomachine mk1 or mk2?
isakron 3 years ago
The monomachine is an MK1 (there's no keyboard-version of the MK2 sadly), but the Machinedrum is an MK2 UW.

One of the best mnm tracks on youtube. Thanks for the info on the model.

Excellent vid, great idea. Gear porn synced to ambient techno can't go wrong!

I don't usually post responses, but this was great! Sounds like it could be the music for a Mario game. :)

I don't know if 20 more seconds would be a good idea. I thought even 2:32 is almost too long, as these things can get repetitive fast.

This is freakin amazing! I've finally learned what my MDmkII UW has been up to all this time once I disappear! I had a sneaking suspicion.

They all do. Remember to unplug power AND midi. It's the only way to make sure they don't make music while you're asleep ;)
