  • Beautiful! I need the strumming patterm =( I'm a beginner. Any help?

  • @Guerrera10ful Thank you. Sorry i just listen by ear :)

  • good job mate, my only suggestion is that you don't toggle the Bm-A....just hold the Bm and off you go.!

  • @mrGoesto11 Thank you. No i like the Bm - A :)

  • Nice job.

  • @spacedoginnebraska Thank you :)

  • @llornkcor22 Thank you :)

  • Hi,I wanna know if I can set up the guitar for 6 strings only.

    Thanks!!

  • @KeithDiamonds Yeah you could do that:)

  • What a pretty sounding jangle box. : )

  • Thank you:)

  • How is the guitar set up? I can see your using the treble pickup but are you using the 5th knob and where is the tone set to? Ric-O-Sound or not? Im running a 330-12 through a Vox AC30 and just can't get the right sound.

  • Thank you for watching.I`m sorry but i don`t have any good answer.

I have no clue about tech stuff. I just plug & try to set up by ear.

So i don`t remember what i did:) I used a little Marshall amp.

  • Just like my Beautiful guitar! Except mines black.

  • Great:)

  • @tompondus

kunne du ikke lage en bass lesson for living on a prayer ? :D det er ingen andre på youtube så hadde vært fint ;) fortsett med den flotte spillingen ;)

  • Ja skal se en gang om jeg kan få covret den:) Tusen takk for det:)

  • Kenneth,...I just had to play along with you my friend!!! Broke out the 620 6 string and ...by golly I think I did pretty well playing along with ya!!! When I get my hands on a digital Camera I'll post for you. I was watchin your fret work and we are very simular with a few tiny differences. Mostly concerning how we both play thru the bridges. Trust things in Norway are great...Hangin tough here in the USA...later Friend....Ron

  • Hi Ron. That is great. It would be fun to see you play:)

Yeah things are great in Norway. I`m glad you are Alright:)

    Kenneth.

  • the 620 has always been my favorite rick model. great to see someone playing it!

  • Thank you so much:)

  • Nice job. Cool guitar - ( but then again I just might be a little biased!)

  • Thank you so much:) Yeah i saw you playing a great Rickenbackers too.Great.

  • Rickenbacker :)

  • If I had the money...

  • Yeah:)

  • wow that guitar it beautiful.

  • Yeah. I love this guitar:)

  • HUH! I wonder if your a big a Tom Petty fan as I am tompondus?!?! LOL You played this very nicely I always tried to play but the chords in the 40 song, song book are different then the way tom plays it (tom plays the easy version)

Maybe you should put up a "learn The Waiting video!"

  • Hi. I`m a vey Big Fan. Well I`m not a gitar player. I now some chords:) But i guess i have the rythme to play this song. Because you got to play it with a lot of feel. Tom Petty is very good at that.

    Just like John Lennon playes.:)

  • hey you did a great job, I do the same thing with by 620 ric but mine is black. do you live in IL we could start a band. I love playing this song, it makes everything feel so right.

  • Hey. Thank you so very much. I love this song to.

    Sorry i live in Norway.:)

  • great job man

  • Thank you so very much:)

  • Very nice, that is such a beautiful guitar, always wanted a black one like Lennon played, but that red rick is so beautiful too.

    Tom

  • Thank you so very much.Yeah i love this guitar:) Kenneth.

  • How much was that guitar?

  • they go for around 1200 to 1600

  • @kleinebudde

The current Musician's Friend price on the:

Rickenbacker 620 Electric Guitar Fireglo (#513652.078)

    is $1,399.00 from a MSRP of $1,829.00

I don't know how old his is though, That price is for a 6 string-- the 12 string version is a bit pricier

I've been looking for one, If something breaks or I get a band I will get me one. Musician's Friend is out of stock in this color until February, other colors are longer, some are in. Free shipping!

  • @tompetty1976

Pick of the Ricks in New Jersey has some new and used 620/12's with prices that rival or beat Musician's Friend. Plus, they have them in stock. The guy who owns Pick of the Ricks is a really good guy too. Bought two of my Ric's from him in the past six months. He'll treat you right.

  • thats a firgo finish right

    PLZ reply

  • Yeah:)

  • wow man, your really good, i am a huge tom petty fan and you nailed it, i am guitarist too, i love playing his songs, obviously not as good as you though :)

  • Wow ,Thank you so very much.

So nice of you:) Great great song.

  • @bubbamikeDP do you struggle with first position chords then?

  • Great guitar and great cover. Very enjoyable to listen to. keep it up buddy

  • Thank you so much for your kind words.

    So nice of you:)

  • i love the tone of that guitar i play it for hours at sam ash. if i every buy another guitar it will be a a rickenbacker 620

  • Thanks Man. Yeah i love the Tone as well.

    I love Rickenbacker 620:)

  • Great cover-great tone and great playing! Love the 620-12!

  • Thank you so very much. So nice of you:)

    Great song.

  • hey i have an '07 fireglo 620/12 as well! such an awesome guitar and awesome finish

  • Yeah.That`s great.

  • hah i gotta get a camera... isnt that funny... a 2000 dollar guitar and i cant buy myself a video camera? Just to let you know, the year of the model is on the jackplate along with the serial number. only thing about rickenbackers that i hate. they print it on the jackplate?!?! whats up with that!

  • Haha:) Just must get a camera.

    I`l check it out.

Yeah i don`t why they do that.

  • I got a 620/12 too!!! Fireglo also... is yours a 07? Cause your finish looks like mine and thats how the 07's tend to look like. (Theyre different every year!) BUT ANYWAYS i finally pushed myself to figure out campbells parts in the start and the solo and i played it along with you... PERFECTO!!!! I should try and get it up and try to do the rythm to... AWESOME! 5 stars

  • I check`d out the jackplate-

And the year is 2007 like you said.:)

  • haha thats funny that I'm right! Thats what I love about Rickenbackers, you can usually tell the year by the finish.. I'll start looking into camera's. i might have to wait though becuase i broke three strings (all harmony strings >:-0...) and so i gotta order my fav strings online and then take em to my guy whos gonna set the neck and put the strings on and tune it :-)

  • Haha. Yeah that`s great.:)

  • hey you wanna make me a how to video for this song with strum pattern and chords(basically teach me the whole song through) then send me a link to it. there isnt one god damned lesson vid for this song anywhere...

  • This is amazing. Great job.

Maybe someday I'll be able to afford a 620.

  • Thank you so very much.Yeah it`s an amazing guitar:I

  • dude awesome! you think you could get me the tab four the begging of the song? i just can't seem to find it...

  • I've got the 620 too :D But mines jetglo, much better looking hehe ;) But your looks amazing too :D

  • the most beautiful one is the ric 620 midnight blue

  • whats better this or the 360?

  • Well i like the 620.

    I don`t know whats better.

    Rickenbackers guitars are great.

  • ive played both and i gotta say the 360 is pretty incredible but I THINK they are completely different guitars. i mean solid-semi hollow two very different. BOTH ARE AWESOME

  • anyone play lead work or more distorted lines? im thinking about getting one but i want to be able get more of a modern sound as well as the "jingle jangle." I dont want to resort the the boring telecaster like everyone seems to do

  • You can do lead just fine, but you have to get used to the tiny frets. You'll have strings popping out from under your fingers at first but with practise it's actually a very comfortable guitar for lead work. Also, the hi-gains sound GREAT when turned up!

  • Very nice playing mate. Would you or anybody know the solo for this song? Either live or studio, i wouldn't really care.

  • Hi. Thank you very much. No i don`t know the solo.Sorry. Yeah the solo is great on this song.

  • Nice. Good feel.

  • Thank you so very much.

  • Beautiful guitar man!i'll have to pick one of them up some day..

  • Thank you very much.Yeah it`s a beautiful guitar.Sounds great.

  • i love your guitar, if i could have any guitar it would be that exact rickenbacker 620/12

    good cover

  • Thank you so very much.

    Yeah i love the 620/12.

  • yeah its soo pretty

    i have a rickenbacker 4003

  • Yeah its very pretty.

Rickenbacker 4003 is a cool bass.

  • yeah i love it, it rocks

  • Thank you so very much:)

  • Hi,

the vintage toasters are not better, but they have the old 60s very bright RIC-sound. They are weeker, have less mids, but more heights. I think a 620 is bright enough with the hi gain pickups.

What did You pay for Your 620/12 in Ireland?

    Best Regards

  • Hi, WOW that's great. This is a very new Rickenbacker 620/12, because of the open headstock. Correct? Any reason to change the Hi-Gain pickups to vintage Toasters on this new model?

    Best Regards

  • Hi.Thank you so very much.

Yes it is a brand new Rickebacker 620/12.

About the pickups i have now clue.

I just bought it brand new from a guitar store in ireland.

Are the vintage tousters pickups better?

    Best Regards.
