If you want to play a free MMORPG play Tales Of Pirates, the name is gay, but you are a pirate and you can have a ship, and there's a lot of levels which are plastered with quests

and oh, did I mention you can have a ship? Because you can, and you can go treasure hunting with it.... amongst other fun activities

This game has some incredible balancing issues, for example:

-The 'tank' class warrior does vastly more damage than either of the 'damage' class warriors.

-Leveling any kind of wizard is way too difficult and high level healers are unusually rare but like any other game, completely necessary for doing dungeons.

Not much content but pretty good as far as free MMO's go.
