Wybie is my favorite character, mainly because I find nerdy, awkward, sweet guys to be totally adorable. I always giggle at the part where Coraline leaves Ms. Spink and Forcibles' apartment and it's all foggy, and Wybie is creeping around watching her through his periscope. XD

so thats why the it's called wybie that talks all the songs are named by the sene exept for other father song

I used to be the biggest book-loving dork when I was seven, which was surprisingly the time I read this in 2002. I snatched it from the shelves as soon as I laid eyes on the original creepy cover, and I was sucked in. Unforgettable.

At first, I was pissed about a new male supporting character, when Coraline's solitude added to the general creepiness to the original story, and made it unique.

However, this is an AMAZING movie and Wybie was an excellent addition- didn't seem out of place at all.

Thing is, the Cat is more of a guide sort of speak. They really wanted to give Coraline a friend ,and so she wouldn't be alone surrounded by enemies, talking to no-one but herself and a Cat, who only talks back in the Other World.

Originally, Coraline was a book. I've read it. I'ts pretty much the same...only Coraline is a LITTLE less unfortunate in the book (As in meals and stuff)
