A lot of those guys get paid A LOT to use certain gear so people like you will go "the pros use them.. so they must be good" when in reality they're not and the company's just trying to suck more money out of customers.

Maybe otangs are good maybe they aren't I've never used them, but form your own opinions, be yourself, and don't follow what others do... even if they're pros =]

Don't use them because pros are though haha that's lame. Pros are walking advertisements. p.s. Burton sells overpriced junk if you compare them to a real snowboard company like Never Summer or Nitro. Maybe some of their boards are ok, but they're still overpriced and you're totally paying for the brand, not quality.

@quikboarder93 i have tried other brands and i like how otangs seem to last longer then most wheels and slide just as good as any other wheel if not better. and as for you saying burton isn't a good snowboarding brand..I admire Burton because it has become a giant, which is no easy feat considering that companies such as K2 and Rossignol have been around for longer. Their boards are difficult to pick through though, but theyre bindings are great. Wud say more but no room.

@fr0zdify Have you ever ridden a Nitro or Never Summer? Or used Raiden or Union bindings? They're better. A LOT better. Go demo some. Burton got so big because they made great products and had the best pros, but it's changed. They're only big now because once a company gets so huge, it's easy to stay huge because they have the most money to put into advertising to convince people they're good. Plus people go "oh if they're so big they MUST be the best", but that's, by far, inaccurate.
