  • It seems to be a hard line of work to break into, I have only a limited number of years military exp, and from what ive found out its alot about who you know......ill kepp trying

  • @CivicWeapon Don't. It's a shit life with excellent chances of ending up burried in an un-marked grave some where a long ways from home. Trust me on this, I've had to do exactly that to very good mates I'd known for years. There's no glory, no parades, nothing to come back too, and yeah, if I had it to do over again I'd have even worked at McDonalds.

  • @MrVonKruger for real? Man I just miss the army life so much, ive been a civi now for a few months and i feel like im going crazy, I only did 3 years in the army but it changes your mind set....

  • @CivicWeapon Absolutly for real. As in, did you know we lost more civilian contractors then ALL the reported soldiers KIA in Iraq and the 'Stan? We arn't military so "we don't count" is the rule.

Although we work very close with the militaries where were at, we don't have arty on call, or air or a Navy with Harpoons just off shore ready to scratch our back at a minutes notice. Support for us can take 10-20 minutes, or even a hour in some cases (been there done that, got the scares to prove it)

  • I heard these guys are making upwards of 100k. That's ridiculous

  • @HTC2971 You lack perspective then. A CEO or even a executive of a corperation has about 7-8 years of schooling behind them and anywhere from 10-15 years experience. They ~start~ at over 150K.

I have 6 years higher edducation, another 4 in military schooling (Strategy & Tactics, weapons of all kinds from handguns to FOX APCs, hand to hand, knife fighting, demolitions, ect.) and over 20 years combat experience in 14 different countries.

    I earn what I make.

  • our fucking money going to more waste

  • @latinlingo How so? You seem to have something you want to say but weren't clear about it. try again.

  • Some people are very misinformed, most contractors operate strictly on a defensive basis... There job is to protect diplomats or cargo and are not combatants but can defend them selfs if attacked

  • @JoshuatheKodiak Private soldier is a soldier who is a hired gun who can be a bodygaurd, or whatever job that needs to be done, of course getting paid very well. a mercenary is a unpolitical correct term for Private Soldier

  • Shell and Halliburton are not my country.

  • They're security guards, the guard post property and people. Mercenaries conduct offensive operations with a particular country, either seperately or in coalition.

  • its not tax free....

  • 0:52 finger on the trigger wow

  • @chanrobi Haha, good eye. That's evidence enough that he shouldn't be training anyone.

  • @samsiteone lol it's actually the highest bidder not the highest bitter....just looks weird like that.

  • Lol 1:15

  • so are they good or bad ??

  • 240p, we meet again...

  • PMCs have built a bad name for themselves, quite a few of the people they hire are DIShonorable discharges and trigger - happy. That doesn't apply to all of them, but when those people do illegal things, and still receive a paycheck much higher than a soldier, it kinda pisses me off.

  • @CommandantNOVA same

  • Kabul city ruins MOH

  • Contractors are not mercenaries...

Mercenaries work for the highest bitter (good guys or bad guys)...

Contractors work for their countries under contract.

  • @samsiteone Bingo. I could count on one hand how many people understand that, your one.

  • @samsiteone you're wrong. mercenaries are soldiers that are not enlisted in a military. you can still fight under a flag and for you're home country because you love you're country, but you're still a mercenary.

  • @nzman101

But there is a difference between soldiers and bodygaurds. The PMCs are basically bodygaurds: they do not initiate an attack. They try to protect people who pay them from getting attacked.

So if the US hires people to kill Bin Laden, then they are mercenaries (and the US is in violation of Geneva). If the US hires people to protect one of their generals, they are contractors. So a PMC is basically a very well equipped bodygaurd

Or atleast, that is what I've got from it.

  • @samsiteone So are you saying killing people under contract is ok...??????????

  • @samsiteone I gotta say thats a great distinction I never thought of it like that. Good Stuff!

  • 1:38 that ak47s a shity one Chinese trash
