  • Oh man, I love the audiance. It was funny that 2 minute pasue they had

  • I really liked this one because when Robert goes to the house his face said it all. However, I thought one of the all time best one was when Alley asked Ray "why does God put us here?" Ray didn't know what to say and all the family fights over the answer. Robert in that one came up with "Am i really any different than a house fly?" It was funny and deep at the same time.

  • Why does the show have Robert keep putting himself down as a looser a police lieutenant is like the coolest job there is (despite the danger)

  • I LMAOED.

  • This is funny everytime!!!!

  • Poor Robert

  • excellent...sooo goodd..

"... and handsome" --> His face xD priceless

  • No matter how many times I watch this episode I go into shock at Marie's intrusion into her son's interview. I was mortified and had to remind myself this was ACTING. DAMN FINE PIECE OF ACTING!!

  • he stopped blinking...lmao!

  • My favorite line: "Please, forgive your mother." LMAO!!! :-D

  • lol heeps

  • brad=big dog from 2 stupid dogs

  • Possibly the funniest robert episode ever!!!

It would be a nightmare if my mother faxed a letter to my would-be boss during a job interview. I love the face and expression he makes when he encounters Marie at Ray's house.

  • Hey, I just noticed that's Mr. Gorpley from Perfect Strangers. I couldn't recognize him at first because he looks different, but I knew I recognized the voice. He was also in the Tales From the Darkside episode Bigalow's Last Smoke.

  • @wtcvidman

He also played Bernard on LOST.

  • This episode just aired earlier today (along with the episode with the skit Ray & Debra do of Frank & Marie) & thankfully I taped it.

  • HAHAH Listen to the laughter in the background. You can hear a seal! 2:42

  • i love this part

  • Brad must be a really great actor, that he kept a straight face like that throughout the letter reading

  • I know that guy interviewing Robert. It's Sam Anderson. Bernard from "Lost."

  • wow it is him..you got a good eye

  • Thank you. I have a knack for spotting people from their shows appearing in other people's programs.

  • The face is priceless

  • My all time favorite episode of all time!

  • His expression after he reads the word "handsome" and looks at Robert is awesome.

  • "...Please forgive your mother." LMAO!!!

  • cough P.S lol

  • I HATE U

  • this is a brilliant show. one of the better american sitcoms. living in the uk i only disocvered it a couple of years ago (it is now only aired 730am, where as friends is on twice a day every day of the week!)

  • You need satellite TV. Its on The Paramount Comedy channel all the time.

  • "PS"

    "Oh God!"

This episode has one of the funniest(part 1) and one of the most touching scenes (part 2) of the entire series.

  • A guy in the background was laughing his head off:D

  • Oh, you caught that, too? I didn't know anyone would catch that. The guy laughing his head off occurs around 2:43 to 2:53 in this video.

  • Yea i think he's one of the crew in ELR because ive also heard that eerie and annoying laugh in other episodes too...sound like he was running out of breathe or sumtin...hahaha

  • @chribillionaire

You can hear that same laugh right before Debra freaks out in The Angry Family around the time she talks about the "freak show that set up a tent across from her".

  • The duck laugh?
