I'm the lead vocalist in a band and its alot harder than you think. Just singing in itself takes a lot of energy, not to mention running and jumping around. And to throw the fact that you cant breathe whenever you want to on top of all that.......its difficult. So cut the guy some slack, and if you dont know at all, dont say anything.

Honestly, this might not have been their best show. But still hella a lot better than sonme shitty bands out there today. Mayday Parade is INCREDIBLE live, and if ppl are gunna judge them on this video. Your not really Mayday Parade fans. Sorry.

hmmm. eh that was okay. it kinda was annoying how jeremy kept turning to the drummer. and i guess their equipment was scratchy but still... derek sounded kinda weird and from 2.30 to like 2.46 he kept doing these weird hand gestures that look like hes gay. plus the backup vocals were loud enough. but they sounded pretty damn good in concert so maybe it was just this one.

You know I was watching another live performance of these guys on here, and a hole bunch of people were saying that they sucked..and it really pissed me off. The audio equipment was bad, thats the only reason it sounded scratchy...I love this band, they will never be bad.

People usually do it either because they swing their mic and it's a lot safer to make sure the mic cable doesn't like just come out of the mic and send a mic flying or because (in Paramore's situation) they handle their mic roughly, I know Hayley has had the mic cable come out of the mic while she was performing and the one time I saw Mayday, Derek swung his mic. I do it for both reasons, I step on my mic's cord all the time and swing it lol.
