  • @myrnaloysboy I knew her younger brother (d. 2008) - he pronounced it Rainer as in "Rain" not "Rhine"

  • @BernardProfitendieu He might have - but she did not pronounce it that way (I have been in her company) and heard it with my own ears and they work perfectly. Only Americans water down languages and pronunciation as they did with English.
