  • I LOVE your videos :D :D

  • Romney is one sexy bitch

  • @petehjr1 It is fun to imagine that as the feeling of a rather large, heavily tattooed man nicknamed "Stovepipe," who happens to share a 10 x 10 cell with Mitt.

  • Hi Claire, love the videos and am a big fan of your Appalachian series. Do you have a reference for the tree stump pic at 2:47? Looks like it was taken in an open cast mine. Thanks!

  • @m0nkt0n Thank you. I do not have a reference for the photo but I think it was taken in an open mine out west somewhere.

  • "if you want to believe a dog can give birth to a non-dog, your going outside the realm of science"

    and pure logic and sanity

and how did anyone think that the 6 types of evolution is a argument that holds any ground? and evolution of origin of life? Ain’t that called abiogeneis?

    they make my head hurt.

and i wont call onision a dim bulb, but his fans who eat his crap without thinking at all. some of those argument to defend the sepsis lie where disturbing.

  • As always, entertaining & delightful. : )

  • I want to coin some new science terms - mirco and macro gravity. Micro gravity makes things fall to earth - i.e. observable, yet macro gravitation between stars and galaxies is just a theory as the universe is held together by the invisible hand of god.

Ill be the new creatard hero. Where's my check?

  • @TheJudoKevin I like it!

  • I have heard about those trees being buried in a straight way before, although I very rarely hear about that topic. I first heard about this most likely around November or December of 2007. It was from a video made at that time by Kabane52 responding to a creationist video from a username I think its called "MisadventureFilms" or something like that.

(part 1) ~ This was made and posted at the midnight just after Wed. 1/17/2012 ended in the Pacific Time Zone I live in.

  • I must say, Hovind's "Minority Report" style special effects are damn impressive. What a piss off that an anti-science a-hole like him is so quick to reap it's benefits.

  • OMFG! That asshole even looks and sounds like Kent Hovind!

  • An Anchor Steam drinking Tarheel fan?

    You rock, Claire. :)

  • @drgoldteef And a Fulham fan too!

  • Those tree trunks on the shoreline looked very surreal.

    great video :)

  • This week's winner is serious facepalm and douchebaggery material

  • Why do so many creationists wear the bowl-cut hair style?

  • Claire, I love ya darlin. Consider me subbed.

  • Isn't ironic that creatards look like such poorly evolved creatures. CreationLiberty looks almost Neandertal but to assume he has a higher percentage of their gene pool than the average non-african would be an insult to Neandertals.

  • @fishypaw I think Chris looks precisely like Lurch in "The Addams Family."

  • It would be a great idea to have some geology in your coffee chats.

  • So many global floods. I wonder if local floods ever happened...

  • @MrStillmans It does seem as though YECs cannot conceive of such a thing.

  • I'd love to have a bit of geology every Sunday. I enjoy learning about it, and I enjoy your delivery of it

  • Oh, this is a good way to unwind after my resent encounter with a creationist.

  • Great video, and well done debunking the polystrat "argument".

FYI, dead trees can remain intact not only for decades, but for millennia, depending on the specific composition of the wood and the environment. I've seen perfect Agathis australis trunks which had been buried in marshes for 50,000 years.

  • Clarie, as usual an excellent video. And as usual, one criticism, too short. *smiles* It seems to be over way to soon. Looking forward to more of your videos. I am an armchair and very amateur geologist; in that, in most cases, I can tell the difference between a rock and a living plant. I really like your videos covering the topic of geology.

  • I agree about onision. That is some WEIRD type of character, and I don't want to see more of him again.

  • Odd, I don't recall ever praying to the almighty evolution god/deity/creator/thing/whatever to promote evolution as a religion. What amazes me is that anyone could actually sit through just a few minutes of any creationliberty video without falling asleep! Great video and I would love to see a geology section in your great series. Loved the Randy Newman song there.

  • I have coffee with Claire on Mondays. It's usually the first thing I do when I get to the office on Monday morning, get my coffee, sit at desk, watch Claire pwn while enjoying a Monday morning.

  • Me like Claire...hee hee hee

  • You've got to love it when the creatards vomit back the Hovind talks. Good grief. Speaking of good grief, Arsenal and Fulham...UGH!

  • actully, claire, you are kinda wrong on one point there.

evolution DOES say that "dogs" came from "non-dogs". if nothing more, dogs came from wolves, or "k9's". now you can say these are just other names for dogs, so just go farther back the tree.

dog's came from a non dog mammal.

can dogs produce non dogs? well, if you (and enough ppl) decide that a chawawa is so "not looking like a dog" that it should no longer be called a dog, you'll have a "non dog" coming from a dog.

  • @eyallev I believe the point was demonstrable change, in real time

  • @cadeere74 well, in that case, yea, it never happens.

a speciation event basically happens when we (men/scientists) decide to draw a line and call one group "species A" and another "species B".

sure, you may claim that "can/can't produce an offspring" is an objective way to differentiate between species, but than you run into ring-species, where your way of classifying, break down, and you realize that all species are basically like this, and there is no black and white, just shades

  • There is nothing I like better than to wake up, make myself my morning coffee, sit at my PC (which auto switches on at 6:30am) check the emails, and find out there is a new coffee with Claire waiting, cheers!

Isn't it something that for religious people to cast doubt on evolution or indeed atheism, they have to first transform them into religion? They have to drag everything they refuse to understand into the realm of "belief" in order to cast doubt on its validity.

  • Excellent choice for this week's dim bulb Claire. I can't believe there really are people that stupid. If I were a new subscriber on YouTube and saw Chris Johnson's video without knowing better, I would swear it was parody.

  • Sorry, but I can't resist.... 3-1! =D

  • @BluJugganaut ARGH! To 10 MEN! It was a famously bad weekend for my sports teams. :) I bet Steve Kean is breathing easier.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 Unfortunately, yes. Kean still isn't good enough, and these results are only gonna make him stay longer!

Or maybe he IS good enough, and he's just taken far too long to show that. =P

  • @BluJugganaut Perhaps the worst thing ever to befall Rovers was the acquisition by Venkys.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 Don't even get me started!

  • @BluJugganaut On another subject, and one which may trouble you not at all, has Arsene "Whinger" ever lost a game without blaming the officials? I really must ask an Arsenal fan.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 No need. His reputation for cry-babyability is known worldwide. I don't remember a game they lost where he didnt have a good cry!

  • Yeah, Paul did an excellent Onionskin video. ProportionalResponse also did a most excellent video about him too.

  • I would love a geology section in each Coffe With Claire.

  • I really enjoyed this video Claire. I always learn something with a bit of laughter thrown in for good measure. Good way to start a Monday for me.

  • Re Polystrate trees this is precisely the problem that creotards just cannot grapple with i.e. within an old earth, rapid events will occur e.g. Surtsey. They seem to think that one catastrophic event proves a young earth. However, unfortunately for them, it is exactly the opposite.

In theory, every single geologic event could be proven as occuring 6K years ago but only ONE event, millions of years ago, is necessary to eclipse these. Think about it because it doesn't work the other way round.

  • "evolution is a religion" haha... *sighs* don't you ever get tired of providing answers that they just ignore, Claire?

  • @Epostaxis I don't really do it for them. I am simply providing answers to people who might engage these morons in conversation sometime.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 yes, please include a geology segment each week, I lov this stuff! simply fascinating

  • *drinks some hazelnut* The ghost forest pictures makes me feel sad... Every time I watch Onision I can feel neurons inside my brain committing suicide.

  • When all you can do is grasp at straws, it is only logical to build strawmen out of them.

  • I think it would be better to keep the coffee and the geology mostly separated. It can be hard to dig up a specific geological topic you dealt with when it's buried in the backlog of coffee videos.

  • @KaroKoenich That's true. And anything I talk about would need to be brief and easily explained, or I would need to follow up with a stand alone video.

  • "evolve" simply means "change over time." Every use of it DOES NOT automatically refer to the Theory of Evolution. Cosmic evolution ONLY refers to how the universe changes over time. Stellar evolution ONLY refers to how stars change over tome.

There is this think called "scope" in science, which refers to what is covered by a specific theory. The scope of the Theory of Evolution ONLY covers how ALREADY EXISTING life changes over time. Not how life started, not how non living things change (cnt)

  • @NekuraCa *thing

The fact that creotards continually overextend the scope of Evolution to any reference of the word "evolve" cannot be just stupidity. It is so far beyond stupidity that It can only be a deliberate misrepresentation. This is even beyond the misrepresentation of what the scientific definition of "theory" is verses the common definition.

It destroys my faith in humanity that there are people like that that will spread such outright lies, and feel sorry for those who are taken in.

  • maybe Jesus WANTED the trees to grow through solid rock. did he think of THAT?!!? by these peoples' logic it's perfectly probable. right?

  • Well according to the Bible, the flood covered the tallest mountain. The earth was apparently waterlogged for an entire YEAR. Wouldn't this indeed mean that all the earth's trees and fauna were underwater? That would kill them all and deplete the world of oxygen, so Noah and his family and the remaining animals would perish. Not too mention, what would that leave for food once they exited the ark?

  • Hrm, is there a specific medical term for that particular allergic reaction? Is it an unusual reaction your IgE starts, or some other path entirely?

As someone who studies biology (not exactly professionally, IE I don't get paid to do it.), I can confidently state; I don't attempt to explain polystrate trees. Although I find the explanation geology provides quite fascinating. I'd love to see what's living in that ghost forest.

Oooooh, maybe someone will explain what "kind" means.

  • @sarcleaeolist Without question, the most appropriate person to consult regarding the inhabitants of a ghost forest is Hayao Miyazaki. :)

  • @WildwoodClaire1 An excellent show as always, Claire. My sole complaint is the use of a gorgeous song like ABBA's "Money, Money, Money" in association with a disgusting shitstain like Mitt Romney.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 Whew I feel dense. I finally did a search on him. I never really knew the guy's first name. I just always thought of him as "Miyazaki", even though I've seen most of his movies (and yes, I enjoyed them).

  • i need the pink slip poster

  • Creationists have to break up evolution into six different types, that way with their shoe like intellect they can misunderstand it even further.

  • @complexadaptive Actually, it is a ploy to force people who are knowledgeable of a particular branch of science to defend the ideas of a branch of science in which they are not expert, an attempt to level the playing field somewhat, because the creationist is usually no expert in any field of science.

  • @WildwoodClaire Good point, look at the creationist boob Ian Juby who you have roasted on many occasions, the creationist "Professor"....an expert at knowing nothing.

I will be visiting the Big Valley Creation Museum here in Alberta in the spring/summer...Always wanted to barf on Alberta and thought this might be the place to start.

  • Yay Oregon! My home state...Welcome to the gray coast ;)

  • I cannot understand why adults are talking about Onision.

  • @gabiotta Me either, but I did anyway. :))

  • @WildwoodClaire1

I thought that your en passant approach was appropriate. Talking about what we are all bleating about is what Coffee with Claire does best, and there are a lot of us bleating about OnisiPrick. :)

  • Oh Claire, when you pwn people it's utterly delightful. I can't wait for the next time we sit down and have our coffee together again.

  • Nothing really constructive to add here, so, thanks for my favorite YouTube show!

  • @n3rdm4n Thanks, that's very nice to hear.

  • that image at 06:50 is terrifying...... 0.o

  • Great vid, as always. I would have gone with the Evolution Revolution guys, simply for their crimes against set decoration.

  • I kayak in the bayous around Houston, and have been using some of the same snags as landmarks for almost 5 years.

  • It's amazing how cheered I am by your theme song for Claire's coffee. Conditioned response, I suppose.

  • @bmeissner It does the same thing for me.

  • Chris is merely stupid... oh wait, that's the point. He needs to learn about Dmitri Belyaev.

And the Joggins Cliffs is a World Heritage Site.

  • There is a ghost forest close to me at Erith on the banks of the Thames. It is laid down in peat and as a result, hundreds of Neolithic artefacts have been found around the trees. It's a spooky place.

  • Thank you Claire for your excellent video, and how you clear up the confusion of the so-called "polystrate tree fossils". Yes, it's obvious that strata would be deposited much faster in a swamp or flood plane, where as, stratified layers are deposited much more slowly in other regions that are not flood planes. People need to be aware that rock strata are not deposited at the same rate everywhere while much faster in flood planes. These creatards seriously need to do their home work.

  • Thumbs up for the Pulp Fiction clip!

  • And ironically Chris looks like an ape with that low brow...

  • So that was Onision. Glad I now don't have to go to his channel to see him. This was more than enough ;-/

  • Dog gives birth to a dog, a monkey gives birth to a monkey, a cat gives birth to a cat ...,( they "think" that scientists "believe" that the new species appears in a single generation, pure idiocy!), and so on to infinity nonsense. Creationists are really persistent in the fact that no matter how many times you explain to them and prove evolution, genetics, geology, they will continue again and again and repeat one and the same "arguments".

  • Doug Sharp isn't so sharp. lol

And creationliberty, UGH! I am so tired of those pathetic strawman arguments that I could scream! "There is no evidence that a dog can come from a cat, so evolution is a religion!" DERP!!

  • once again, lol, good1

  • Hi Claire, I enjoyed your explanation on so-called "polystrate" trees. However I do have a minor kibitz, I refuse to use the term "polystrate." It is not a recognized geological term. It was invented by Nicholas Rupke in 1968 when he briefly flirted with creationism and published an article in the Creation Research Society Quarterly using the term. Rupke became an historian of science teaching at Oxford. The term "polystrate" has remained. I use insitu fossils instead.

  • There are cedar stumps in the tidal zone of Stratten Island Maine that have been dated to 6,000 years old. They didn't look to me to be old at all, though I was very puzzled by how they ended up in the tidal zone.

Anoxious conditions like those found in the Black Sea are another mechanism for the creation and preservation of polysriated tree trunks.

  • Just the sight of Onision alone makes me ill.

  • I see 'Dim Bulb Awards' don't seem to give these asshats pause or reason to address their dimness. Sad that they cannot understand the shit they spew or even retrospectively analyze their shit after you point out their asshatness.

  • And I the only one that get the Creater explanation wrong?

Polystrate tree is an argument for an old age sedimentation, not for a flood.

Maybe somebody has to ask these Creatards to explain how Noah flood created the grand canyon, and yet there you we thsoe nice neat standing trees.

Maybe someone has to show then the power of Rapids water.

  • Mitt Romney photoshopped into a woman...

    MY EYES!!!!!

I am now blind. Thanks a lot! :-P

  • 11:58 Chemical Evolution?? Eh? ''One of the 6 types of Evolutions'' Bahahaha! Never heard that one before! Any takers on that one?

  • Chris Johnson.... First for being full of it up to his eye balls. Two, for plagiarizing Hovind.

  • It's like the creationists are not living on this planet and seeing how fast some chage can take place, and others take longer and so on.

  • Shit, Claire, it's 22:40 here. Do you know how long I'm gonna be awake and how I'm going to look at work tomorrow if I drink a coffee now? Ah, fine... you win.

  • @WarChicken78 so, have a muscle relaxant instead. :)

  • @WildwoodClaire1 I have a rainbow outside because I have a rainbow inside :)

  • @WildwoodClaire1 Too late :)

Your video was just avery good excuse to have a coffee now. I love that stuff even more than beer (wich is... unusual for a german, I think).

Concerning your vid - you are SO right about that repetition of creationist arguments.

I was thinking about setting my cam up and start making videos myself some time ago. By now I'm so bored by their repetetive crap, that I don't want to engage them anymore. Maybe I'll do other stuff some time. Time will show...

  • @WarChicken78 Add some whiskey to your coffee, should counteract the effects!

  • It would be nice to see one of these creationist fadmonsters come up with something new every now and then, but with a mind in shackles, perhaps their imaginations can't travel very far. Ray Comfort comes up with the banana thing, so I typically expect one of his kind to essentially serve up a dish of bananas foster and act like it's a groundbreaking new piece of evidence. It's about as convincing as Mitt Romney pretending he's like the rest of us.

  • Claire, I like your videos, and I know you show photographic evidence of what you're saying, but I think what would be even better would be using animations demonstrating what it is you're saying as you say it.

I'm not sure how easy that is to do, and you've probably already considered it, but just thought I'd put the thought down while I think of it :)

  • I love you Claire.

  • On the subject of Ray Cumfart, do you think he and Kirk really believe the bullshit they spew out or do you think they are concious charlatans? Personally I think that Ray is a con man who doesn't believe a word he says but uses Christianity to extract money from credulous people who do believe his bullshit.

  • @Zed1967 I agree with your assessment of Ray. Kirk, I am less sure of. He may actually be that dim.

  • @WildwoodClaire1

It makes me uber angry that people like Christian evangelists are allowed to extract money from credulous people as I work with people who have learning difficulties, mental health issues and other problems. Christian evangelists prey on these sort of people to line their own pockets and have no shame. T

hey are not human beings in my eyes. *boils with anger* >:(

  • @Zed1967 I know you weren't addressing me, but I think Ray knows full-well his arguments are nonsense. When he phoned The Atheist Experience, Matt Dilahunty shredded what he was saying, and all Ray had to say was 'okay. you got me'.

I think he thinks that those that disagree with him are playing the same games he is. He knows the 'crocoduck' thing is a joke. Despite what some might say, he's not a stupid man, just a disingenuous one, but I do still believe he believes in his god.

  • @Skindoggiedog Comfort's arguments are easy, all you have to do is know his line of sales patter, and then come up with an answer to each and every question, trapping HIM into saying stuff he does not want to say. "Are you a liar" "Yes, I sometimes lie, are you" that kind of thing.

  • @dangerouslytalented Thanks, but that's not information I didn't already have.

  • @dangerouslytalented

Surely you have seen this little beuty /watch?v=a3o-M7e6WOA

I am in love with this woman... Ok ok and you too claire... Nacherely!

  • @Zed1967 It sounds very much like a line of sales patter by a guy selling cleaning products. He has obviously learned sales techniques, and does not care whether those selling techniques are bogus or not, because he makes the sale, enough to live off it. And it is not really the people in the street he is selling to. He is selling his ministry, people give him money because he believes he is making conversions, far more than he actually does.

  • @Zed1967 I don't know, I remember once hearing Ray defend christianity as the one true religion, because it's the only religion that answers the problems... set forth by christianity. That is too stupid for anyone not actually that dumb to come up with. That argument can't even sound good to most creationists...

  • You have to feel bad for those guys that buy into the Hovind bile. Normal people's BS detection should kick in within the first 30 seconds of one of their videos. I wish people would truly learn about evolution and see that its amazing & simple and complex at the same time. But i know some people put themselves inside a small box of their own preconceived notions and think its the world.

  • Wasn't our distinguished dim bulb winner also featured in a potholer video? I'm pretty sure he was even giving the exact same spiel, and potholer played the clip of Pappa Hovind giving the same speech in one of his original lectures. Funny how people never learn...

  • @MagorianAx I think Chris was one of Potholer's Golden Crocoduck nominees.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 That sounds about right.

That's quite a resume he has going. Two dim bulb wins and a Golden Crocoduck nomination. He should be proud. :P

  • @MagorianAx It is quite an accomplishment given his manifest limitations.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 Hahaha, indeed.

In any case, thanks again for making my Sunday enjoyable. I look forward to these every week.

  • Why does everyone pick on Onision...

He is more enlightened than teenagers most.

  • @Larvemannenz001 I don't know. Maybe it has to do with the fact he is a 30 year old guy who's YouTube demographic is, disturbingly, 13 year old girls, and he's a disingenuous, emo asshole.

  • Claire , what was that documentary that exposed Romney ?

  • Comment removed

  • @jiberish001 He's just some kid fucking around, most likely because he is bored and wants attention. Don't worry about it.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 You are probably right. In retrospect I've decided to remove the comment. I found it humorous, but would rather not draw any attention to him.

  • As soon as I hear PaulChartely's voice I prepare for a slug fest of mirth.

  • @MacNutz2 Me too. Just the sound of his voice makes me smile.

  • mutt romney has magic PINK underwear!wow...haha!

  • Hey, Aunty Claire, glad to see you included a piece about one of the most sinister and dangerous minds on YouTube, Onision. I could rant about that low life, insidious muppet, but I won't (plenty of sources out there for my fellow subs can go find for ourselves),,,But just thank you, thank you for linking someone who talks about him in an intelligent way :)

Uncle Harry drew yesterday...But we're still in the top 3 :)

  • @MrShannonite I was surprised, and a bit disappointed, that the Spurs only drew. It would be nice to see someone other than the usual suspects win the Prem.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 I don't think we ever won an end of season top spot since we came out of the old division 2, and that was either when I was a toddler, or before I was born and I'm 42 now. I think I'm sticking with calling you Aunty, you remind me of a few relatives I once had on my father's side of the family...They always spoke the truth and with your tone. Yep, you're my new adopted aunt :D

  • As always, enjoyed the coffee klatch. : )

  • -"Atheism/Evolution is a religion" is the most revealing thing a theist/creationist can say. It's not funny only because it's wrong (which it is), but because of the inherit assumption it has about religion being a bad thing. In that at least, they are correct.

  • @Moh5Itachi1 I have a whole stash of clips of Eric Hovind simultaneously arguing for teaching creation in science classes while calling it science but admitting its a religious viewpoint. One of these days, I'll put together a video of creatards trying to have their cake and eat it too.

  • AGGHHH CHRIS JOHNSON HOW I LOATHE YOU

  • Thanks for taking on the polystrates, Claire! I find them fascinating for some odd reason... :)

  • @brettppalmer Not a problem. Sorry I couldn't make a whole video out of the topic, but the answer is so basic, so simple, that making a video longer than about one minute would be unjustifiable.

  • @Claire, Don't feed the trolls.

  • @aikimark1955 Quite right. What was I thinking? :)

  • @CasesAndMaterials "For those reading this I pose a question to you. Is intelligence a curse? It is a question I have mulled over many times in my life. I suspect those largely bereft of it tend find happiness more easily. "

From your profile. I take it you're a VERY happy person. Your lone thumbs down looks a little cold and lonely......

  • @moopism what an astute observation did you work that out all on your own?

  • @CasesAndMaterials you do of course realize that, by posting a link, you're simply inviting abuse from my viewers, right? Perhaps you are simply desperate for attention and views on your pathetic little video. I advise my viewers to simply ignore you.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 I suspect you discovered its cleverly 'hidden' motive right away, a pathetic case of attention seeking. I think I will scratch the dogs ears instead of bothering with this one. :)

  • Hah, ABBA

  • @AmsterdamHeavy I can never hear Abba without thinking of "Muriel's Wedding." Where have all the great Australian films gone?

  • @CasesAndMaterials Dude! I don't care and neither do the vast majority of my viewers. :))

  • @WildwoodClaire1 No really I never knew! Here is an observation which will lead you to as great a consternation, as yours lead me. Grass is green!

  • Since I have gotten away from christianity, I can see that it is used for control. Even Charles Manson seems to have used the bible as a means of control. I wish that others would wake from the nightmare that is religion.

  • I wouldn't call American politics in general and Republican politics specifically as a "minefield." It lacks even that much dignity.

  • Aren't dogs just the domesticated (and selectively bred) form of wolves?

  • Everyone likes claire! :D

  • Paul's series Literally Genesis is well worth watching. The best interpretation of the bible out there.

  • @TychoCelchu As I said, he is one of the funniest guys I know.

  • In some sense creationism is fun...

  • @Wrath0fKhan At least it gives an old lady a laugh on a peaceful Sunday.

  • Always good work Claire!

  • Good job on the trees. I like to use geolgoy to show YECs they are wrong. They always change the subject to God or move the goal posts to the big bang theory, '' where did it all come from''.

  • @Claire, I'm a bit depressed over the UNC loss to FSU yesterday. If the Tarheels had played well, I wouldn't have minded the loss, but they 'stunk up the joint'. :-(

Last night, I thought of a funny line that might cheer the rest of your weekend: "The Tebow placebo failed to deliver a Bronco playoff victory"

  • @aikimark1955 I've been a Tar Heel fan since the days when George Karl had hair like mine and I've seen games like that before, even when the Heels went on to win a national championship. It stinks to lose like that but one game isn't all that important at this point. I'm sure the players feel worse about that game than any of us, I am confident that Coach Roy, et al will address the situation and the players will respond positively.

  • @WildwoodClaire1 I remember my dad complaining about the long hair on the Tarheel players like George Karl when we watched games in the late 60s even though he liked the way they played. I'm absolutely sure that Roy will 'address' the situation and don't envy the players this week.

We are about the same age and have seen a LOT of Tarheel hoops over the years -- the good and bad, the pretty and ugly, the awesome and terrible.

  • Chris Johnson loves to repeat verbatim both Hovinds, father and son, material. That makes him quite deserving of your award.
