@cap0n3 i don't have a live kit. i sample drums mostly from different records. a lot of times at the beginning there's some open drums like a drum fill or a drum solo. that's where i get a lot of the open hihats. whether it's an original soul, funk or jazz record or a drum break record. it doesn't matter. there's different drum libraries too, but i don't really like to use those cuz i like to chop my own drum sounds the way i like them to sound. a lot of those libraries have wack sounds.
