Terraria - Falling from ground level to the Underworld (Hole dug straight down)

its time consuming, but u can place sand down in the underworld, (750 blocks or so) and then mine it out again. it soaks up the water, but so does any tile. sand is just easier to pile on. Then your underworld would be less flooded. Just a thought

The diamond is in the same form as the gems (Topaz, Ruby etc), you find it in other rocks :)
