I'm not going to lie, some of his stances are very legitimate, regarding the removal of troops in war torn countries that the US has colonized, lraq for example. So you see, when the economy collapsed back in 1893, before "corporatism," it was the failure of the capitalist system. It's a cyclic upward and downward slope of crisis. If drugs were legalized in the us and other countries, most, if not all, of that violence would disappear because local businesses here would produce and supply the drugs to people who desired them. There would be no use for such a drug trade as currently exists.

Ron Paul's position on the Drug War is great. So is his position on bringing home our troops. His positions on the minimum wage, deregulation of big business, Social Security, Welfare... not so hot.
If we end the drug war and bring home our troops, what are we going to do with all the people who become unemployed as a result? The military-industrial complex, law enforcement, private prisons, drug testing firms, on and on will be laying off employees in droves. For now, socialism is essential.

i have tried just about every drug there is and never had to go to rehab for anything.when i got out of school and found a better job with an apprentace to journyman training. i stopped smoking weed and drinking on weekends because after 8 hours of work then the 3 hour classes was tough.everyone knows if there is an addiction only themseves can pull them out of it.
