  • Hitch is dead. D.E.A.D. dead. No heaven, no he'll. Just dead. There is no reason for your retarded jesus christ or your god. Notice show I didn't capitalize? I only capitalize important things. Instead of me turning to your sky tyrant, how about you turn some pages in a scientific book? Here, ill jump start you. The Earth is round.

  • Where is Hitch now?You may not like the answer.I take no pleasure in saying that without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You will follow him where he is now.Turn to Jesus Christ before it's to late.Chose Life and stop mocking God.

  • @2002Believe1970 LOL. What makes you think hell is real though? Because it 'says so in the bible'?

  • @2002Believe1970 REALLY?...Are you pushing your imaginary friend at this video? LOL?

  • I don't get why there always has to be a religious/political argument on Every.Single. Youtube. Video. Can't we all just post something along the lines of, "Nice words, Dawkins. Peace out, Hitchens."?

  • A great loss to mankind.

  • RIP Hitch

  • we have to pick up the pieces he left for us

  • best thing about being an atheist is you never go to hell, but believers all do.

  • @dushyantx

    ramen

  • @dushyantx explain your logic behind this statement. Take into consideration both world views are true. First off imagine your right and there is no God and this Earth and universe have come together to form what it has with the more than minuscule chance that that is true. So everyone dies and if there is no God and you believe in nothing than what happens to everyone? What is the point in life if we are merely to come and die? God is a just God, but God is also a jealous God.

  • @dushyantx Than what happens if the Christian worldview is true? What if God does exist and there is a Heaven and Hell? For rejecting God that results in eternal damnation and eternity apart from God. As much as you can say "best thing about being an atheist is you never go to hell", take a minute and think about WHAT IF you do go to hell. Is this life your living now really worth the eternity of suffering? Just please ponder those questions seriously. They scare me as a believer.God Bless

  • @Hoganer1990 If God and hell is real. Then i for one would rather spend an eternity in torment than more than 5 minutes in the company of a "god fearing", spreader of supernatural tyranny such as yourself

  • Everyone here should "Flag" the video by Megasage007 titled "Christopher Hitchens is not an atheist - anymore!" for religious hate speech, because youtube is cracking down on that, and the freedom to not believe in religion is a part of the freedom of religion. Also Megasage is an evil, despicable cunt, who tries to weaponize fear to convert atheists (threatening an atheist with hell is like threatening anyone who isn't 6 with the boogeyman), Regardless it is hate, Masquerading as "divine love."

  • Does anyone know if Stephen Fry has made a statement on Christopher Hitchens after his death?

The two of them seemed to have a very long friendship and I assume that he might be one of those who has been more affected by the occurrence.

My condolences to those who met him, loved him and/or appreciated his work.

    We lost a great mind.

  • I didn't think it possible to be as naive and arrogant as a lot of christians are.

I was debating with a catholic a few days ago:

They stated that god created the universe. They then asked me my opinion and I replied " a series of scientific events". They then asked, "who created science?" to which I retorted "who created god?" Their answer was "God has always been there" I then said "fine then, science has always been there."

They said "no" even though I applied the same logic they did.

  • In his book mr.Hitchens wrote that as a nine year old student he was told that Jesus cured a blind man. His question about this act was: Why didn't he just cure blindness? We need alot more like him.

  • @jjohnnyjohnson No kidding, does he have to visit each individual to administer the cure?

  • @jjohnnyjohnson Why didnt he cure blindness? Because we as humans and absolute sinners brought disease, sickness and every problem into this world on our own.

  • @Hoganer1990 Then who brought human into this world according to your religion?

  • @bas98117 Who brought humans into this world? God brought humans into this world perfect without sin. Until we as human beings messed things up and brought sin into the world. Until this day we as humans are born with a wicked heart and the only way to get to Heaven is through him. I just have a question for atheists. Where do you get your morals from? You believe in No God and no greater being. So why do you have any bit of morality at all?

  • @Hoganer1990 So according to your religion, everything in this world is created by your God, then where is the sin come from? As the source of morality, do you know the term golden rule? Do you think if the jewish people before Moses got no morality at all? If they didn't have any morality jewish people simply could not get that far to the time you presume to receive the ten commandment, they already perished long before. Any survived societies have their socially accepted morality.

  • @bas98117 Sin came from human beings being greedy and eating from the Tree of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden. Before that time sin had not been implemented into this world until they disobeyed God. I am quite aware of the golden rule. "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them" Matthew 7:12. The time before Christ and the Bible was created was different than now. We have the Bible to keep us on track.Where did N.A initial laws get based on?

  • @Hoganer1990 who is El? Bib El....Bi BAAL?

  • @bas98117 our systems used to be Christian based judicial systems which has fallen further and further away from Christ. Look at the state this world is in. Economically, natural disasters, the evil throughout the world, pollution ETC! "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom." - Matthew 24:7, "There will be famines and earthquakes in various places." - Matthew 24:7.. WIth many more different predictions in the Bible about the end times. In my opinion you better act fast

  • @Hoganer1990 i don't remember doing that.

  • @lifeschild1 There are others, we can only hope they are as effective as Mr. Hitchens.

  • @dondude69 Hopefully, but I doubt it very much. Hitchens had unmatched charisma, fortitude, forcefulness, and a knowledge based history of the world beyond comparison. He was direct, FEARLESS and unafraid of consequences. He purely spoke the truth directly to his opponents. Who would have the guts to do that in a world of political correctness? NOONNNEEEEEEEEEEE ELLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSE!

  • RIP No one could have said it better what a loss this is :(

  • Ye reap what ye sow!

  • @JesusIsTheOneWay Yes. cause Christians don't die. silly boy.

  • @katrinalisa2002 I saw a video, where Jesus was on his hands and knees giving Allah oral favors as Buddha was doing him anally from behind. Great vid...

  • @katrinalisa2002 No, but Christians go to Heaven. Atheists get what they want, too...separation from God for eternity.

  • @JesusIsTheOneWay I love how you just say that without a shred of evidence WHAT SO EVER. Especially since everyone knows that Atheists go Valinor with the Elves while Theists are forced to stay in middle earth with the Dwarves.

  • @JesusIsTheOneWay: GTFO!

  • @tigersforchrist Oh shut up!

  • @TheCallOfTheWoods

    Go fuck yourself.

  • @TheCallOfTheWoods idiotic remark

  • @TheCallOfTheWoods: GTFO you evil piece of shit.

  • Well at least he is in darkness forever. He wanted it he got it. He refused god so lights out when he died. God puts you wherever you want to be.

  • @SudanCarib Fuck you. Fuck your God and fuck your religion. You people do nothing but harm.

You people are literally disgusting human beings and I am ashamed for you and your hate and your ignorance and your bigotry. You people and your barbaric ideas shall be forever to the ash heap of history.

Hitchens has touched more minds and more hearts then you primitives every will.

    Go fuck yourself clown.

  • @civwarfan Why are you sad for? you Athiest are the ones preaching that there is no life after death. now that he has died you are sad? makes no sense. i thought you guys were used to rotting in the ground. He has touched more hearts? lolz hearts? Gasp im shocked! i thought you Athiest also don't believe in subjective experiences, uhhh be more objective and scientifically PROVE that he has touched more so called hearts....since thats what you guys looooovvve doing. LOL

  • @SudanCarib I hope you realize that nothing you just wrote made any sense. Being sad at ones passing doesnt require a belief in heaven. It would actually make more sense to argue that someone who believes in heaven should have no reason to be sad at one's passing. As far as the rest, I dont know about hearts but he was an intelligent man who touched many minds including mine. I use the saying metaphorically which doesnt require the belief in god to do. You'll notice I didnt claim it as fact.

  • @ilrichard Bullshit! Dr William Craig touched my mind more than that idiot.

  • @SudanCarib Well, I'm sorry for you in that case.

  • @SudanCarib If Craig had more of an influence on you than Hitchens, there's something tragic about that. And what's more, it never ceases to amaze me how rude people can be. You throw away all decency when it comes to the dead and the mourning, just because they disagree with you and your misconceptions about the world? Pitiful, and tacky.

  • @SudanCarib Why because he makes you feel better about something you already believe? You comment doesnt make my statement any less true. Your mind wasnt touched because it was already a mind made up. Dont take this the wrong way but that makes you a fool. I believe what I believe but that doesnt give me an excuse to close my mind to new information or to be afraid to question the information I already have to see if it stands up. Not doing this doesnt make you noble, it makes you ignorant.

  • @ilrichard nope because WLC finally makes sense on why somebody would believe in a god philosophically instead of just believing that we are all just chunks of matter that will fade way after death. If you don't want to believe in god then that's fine. just because science is based on facts and evidence doesn't mean it that it should kick out possibilities.

  • @SudanCarib I have never claimed this. I will always admit that is it possible that god exists. It's impossible to prove god doesnt exist so only a liar would refuse to admit the possibility of his existence. Religious people dismiss science all the time, particularly in the case of evolution. They claim evidence and claim in the same sentence that science lacks evidence. I've always found this arguement to be biased and hypocritical which is why I argue against it.

  • @SudanCarib That"s because you're a snottape .

  • @robbowen100 i'm with panthiesm now. ill just stick with the beauties of nature and logic and truth seeking thanks to hitchens. : )

  • @SudanCarib I think religious people are more prone not to mourn their dead people since they expect them in an other life than the atheist who had them just for this life.

you have no sense in your words...

sorrow and love and mourning don't require belief in any kind of divinity. the feelings are not god dependent, you have them for the simple fact of being human.

and about heart touching, it's a figure of speach to say it so, we live in a world of poetry man.

  • @SudanCarib Copy and pasting from another video I see.

  • @MegaLolburger somebodys stalking i see

  • @SudanCarib Yeah, I stalked you all the way from the video I clicked before this where I saw your comment that was made within the last few hours to this one where another comment was made.

  • @SudanCarib you fucking moron, THERE IS NO GOD! Get it yet? Fod god´s sake grow up.

  • @yatter1 There is a God. He is the reason why you and the whole universe even exist. you don't want to be special? you don't want to matter?

  • @SudanCarib wanting to be special and to matter do not prove that there is a god(s). There are very many ways to both be special and matter without god(s). Your comment is a great manifestation of religious arrogance masquerading as humillity.

  • @lllv1989 if there is no objective meaning to your existence then why be special or matter in the first place? according to your belief we are all just chunks of matter that will fade away after the death of the universe. Doesn't seem special to me.

Religious arrogance? If you study the philosophy on religion, u will realize its not bad at all.

  • @SudanCarib I would actually posit that BECAUSE there is no objective meaning to existence we can be find ways to be special and matter. Under religious thoughts I see that we are either A) all equal in the hands of a god(s), hence no one is special or B) only certain people are special (i.e., those who believe). Conversely, there are limited ways for your life to matter, for example if you dedicate everything you do to a god(s).

  • @SudanCarib Luckily none of this is true! We all get to find things and people we care about and enjoy they for their own sake. Under your liine of thinking, if it could be proved to you that there is no god(s) you don't care abour your family, your job is worthlesss, you don't mean anything, no one who has been good to you means anything, and so on... this is why C. Hitchens said that religion poisons EVERYTHING

  • @lllv1989 how can trying to connect with a higher power or seeking divinity in yourself poisons everything? Native Americans have stuck with their religion for years and look at them...they are a peaceful people. Of course why live and do good if there is no reward for what you done on earth in this lifetime? i can do good and help people and if there is no afterlife then what was my purpose for doing all those things?

  • @SudanCarib your purpose for doing good things is that they feel good! THIS is exactly why i (well, hitchens) said religion poisons everything. Because nothing else matters but trying to connect to god(s). You are either A) a very wicked person who finds no pleasure in doing good things or B) someone who is really good but your religion has told you that your goodness wouldn't matter if there is no god(s).

  • @SudanCarib i think it's option B and you'll find that if you ever see through the god(s) myth you'll still feel good when doing good things! This is a great human quality, you have it whether you like it or not :) (unless you have Antisocial PD). Think about it. There is a purpose to doing good things, altruism for altruism's sake. It feels good and it's the right thing. There is a purpose, it's just not a supernatural one

  • @lllv1989 That's all i want. Just purpose and meaning to our lives. I can't just live and achieve my dreams and then fade way into darkness after that. it would make me think like whats the point...Its on our nature to want to matter and being special.

  • @SudanCarib Well I say two things to this: 1) the fact that you want it doesn't make it true and 2) there are ways in which you can matter and be special, even after dying. I think Hitchens is the perfect example. He has inspired me and moved me and I don't even know him. I read his "Letters to a Young Contrarian" and I feel like I can take on the world! Literature, research, humor, charity, and education are among some of the things that can make you immortal!

  • @SudanCarib 1: “[T]he discussion about what is good, what is beautiful, what is noble, what is pure, and what is true could always go on. And whether it goes on or not after I die, I don’t know. But, I do know that it is the conversation I want to have while I am still alive. Because that’s the only conversation worth having. I want to live my life taking the risk all the time that I don’t know anything like enough yet… that I haven’t understood enough… that I can’t know enough…

  • @lllv1989 that I am always hungrily operating on the margins of a potentially great harvest of future knowledge and wisdom. I wouldn’t have it any other way. […] Take the risk of thinking for yourself. Much more happiness, truth, beauty and wisdom will come to you that way.”-Hitchens

  • @SudanCarib Strange that a lot of religious leaders enjoyed his company. And yet you don't.

Care to offer what you have done for this world?

  • @spmcd2011 what have a done for this world As a spiritual person? or an individual

  • He gave me the courage to come out as an atheist.

  • i am not a believer in a super hero kind of good. it simply does not make any sense to me. but i do believe in god, which is no contradiction at all and my god is smiling in delight about christopher hitchens ...

  • @gwachberg

im sure your god would..... but he dosn't exist.

  • This video doesn't have it's ratings disabled, and it's comments aren't screened. That's because people overwhelmingly liked Hitchens. Nobody will mourn Galloway when he dies.

  • @mmartini50 Well said. The day we lose that demagogic Lord Hee Haw can't come soon enough for me.

  • @mmartini50 What are you talking about? Hamas is going to be really sad when Galloway dies ;)

  • @BlackholeExtinction LOL - true! True.

  • 5 people have got Hitchslapped

  • George Galloway owned Christopher Hitchens in their debate.

  • I was on vacation in Amsterdam when I learned the news and hurrired to make a big joint and smoked it while I visualized all the books I have read and videos I have seen of this great human being. He have been such a big inspiration but his words, way of thinking and intellect will live on in his fellow humans he has inspired.

  • We'll miss you Hitch.

  • The man left some very big shoes to fill, and a lot of people willing to fill them. He did what he wanted and said what he thought, defended what he did and explained what he said.

  • The dicks that disliked this video can go rot on the hell they believe in so badly

  • @Seldomsleeper

    TRUE.

  • @Seldomsleeper

I haven't laughed so hard in quite awhile until I read your comment. Good one.

  • "Richard how do you feel"

"I'm glad you asked, I am dieing, but...so are you".

  • @saintpine wasn't that christopher?

  • @MArtinezNINux

    You're right.

  • i was so shocked, i knew he was ill, but i thought he had at least a few years ahead of him and then i suddenly hear this news in as early as december, oh well *raises glass*

  • I loved God is Not Great! I became an instant fan and follower of his work and have enjoyed many of his debates with the religious. A sad day indeed, atheism has lost one of its most rational and bright personalities in quite a long time. Thanks for everything you have done Mr. Hitchens you will be sorely missed.

  • I'm not an atheist but I miss him too.

  • @Casshyr Read his books. (1 month ago - I guess you'll have to come back to this page).

  • I ordered God is Not Great 2 days before he passed :(

  • Thanks for uploading :)

  • The world has lost a great voice of reason. Thankfully he has left a tremendous body of work behind him.

  • @peuwpe I must say, he left a tremendous body as well.

  • A very sad day indeed. And all the religitards with their thinly veiled gloating are doing their various cults no favours at all.

  • :(

  • Gonna miss Mr Hitchens

  • :(
