Palladium isn't only found by digging, i found palladium by searching the neighborhood. Its pretty common.

Add this to your Desc. creator!!! If you want to be prepared for a simbot making before you reach level 10, or get the call, go ahead and make your sims mine all the time, and put many many gem spawns, and after a while, you'll have everything you need and can make one in 5 seconds!

You don't HAVE to dig for the palladium. Once you have accepted the opportunity if you go into map view there will be little light blue tags showing you where there is already some in the world.

I think the hardest or most long winded part of this is finding the pink stone/gem. When you set the gem spawners it's a waiting game. It's been 3 sim days since I set them and I've had other gems but not the pink one. Also, I think it was about 3-4 sim days before I got a call about the master invention., so it really is random when you're waiting for stuff to happen.

@yuckyparasite  I found, while mining, a pink diamond, but if u want it to get heart-shaped, u need §1.000 and u need to collect every gem, rock, metal (at least, I collected them all xD, u can collect them by finding them or just using cheat code: testingcheatsenabled true, then buydebug). Anyway, I was just lucky by finding it while mining. But I still have a problem: I CANT MAKE THE FRKING MASTER INVENTION AT THE WORKBENCH D:

@bood3e The family estate is a lot I created. You can't find it on your own sims, because I created the lot myself. Just put the miner in your garden, if you have enough spae, it should fit there.

you can 'buy' the simbot as an lifetime reward. Unfortunately the invention doesnt work for 99% of people living in bridgeport. i have lev 10 inventor with the life helmet looking thing and still no option to build it =[

my game also has issues forcing spawners (metal ones) as it slows to a crawl and breaks the grab function making it difficult to grab smelted metal to and from inventory or grabbing/pointing to anything else for that matter.

@AMAZINGDancerEm You have the lifetime reward option, named 'mijn beste vriend' in Dutch and probably 'my best friend' in English. This lifetime reward will give you a rustier version of the simbot I created, without you having to do anything. If you want a cleaner version, like my simbots, you'll have to follow the tutorial. It is the easiest way to get one.

@XthomaspwnzX Hey, je bent Nederlands dus dat maakt het antwoorden een stuk makkelijker :D. Als je Late Night hebt geinstalleerd, dan heb je te maken met een bug. De bug is dat wanneer je Late Night hebt geinstalleerd, je geen simbots meer kan maken. Wil je dus een simbot, dan moet je late night deinstalleren, en dan een simbot maken, en dan weer installeren. Heb je geen late night, dan weet ik het antwoord helaas niet.

for me the palladium was highlighted on the map in city view right outside the science facility and the pink diamond was also highlighted at the cemetary

LOL You dont have to build it after all go to lifetime rewards and purchase My Best Friend then you get a SimBot! :D
