  • Wait, everything is failed. You need to reload the map to load the new settings.

  • @LinusNeuman Well, i believe that was the case in the beta. Even though, if that's still the case, i actually did the benchmarking with FRAPS before, and the importance of this video is to show the high settings, and they are still true, even in this video!

But you got a point there, still, the FPS i show are still true!

  • The Texture settings arent reloaded until you load a new map, so the first test with Low are false.

  • @CannibalSmash1 If you CAN, go for a Intel Processor. The thing is that all the 8 or 6 cores don't help that much in games, but mostly in video and photo editing programs, if you do that alot then more then 4 cores can be good. But if you just want to play games like battlefield, a i5 2500k works better , a little cheaper as well. But the X6 core processor will defenetly run the game on High settings, but with maybe a little lower FPS! :) Google it and check!

  • It's not all about the video card. Without a good processor, the video card would be useless. I suggest adding a suggestion that fits well with this GTX 560.

(And yes, I see the title, don't worry)

  • @LabEntZ Wow thanks dude! I just wrote some important notes in the description! Thanks for telling me this, i don't want people to get tricked to buy this GPU or anything! ^^

  • @holin59 No problem.

  • Good video !! THX

  • @XNico41x Thanks! :D

  • Play with ultra but turn MSAA off and it will be much smoother!

  • flyff

  • @cclm1 Haha yeah! ;)

  • @TheMrPnj No problem m8!

  • for singleplayer , can these specs run it on ultra?

  • Poor video... you had vsync on, which capped your fps at your monitor's refresh rate, ie 60...

  • @MGuD18 Actaully no. vSync was off. I belive it's the ingame benchmark thing in BF3 that does not show more then 60Fps. But it does not matter since i did the benchmarking with Fraps, the in game thing was just to show the viewers that i was not lying! But you have a point, i could have showed the exact FPS at Low/medium instead of just 60+!

  • @holin59 yeah buddy i have a gtx 560 ti superclocked 8gbs of ram amd bulldozzer fx -8120 8x3.9ghz and i can run it at ultra with 41-50 fps ;)

  • @holin59 Vsync was on

  • how can i do a benchmark test?

  • @TheMrPnj Download the free version of FRAPS and run it while you play. You can either save the benchmarks with maximum and minimum FPS or just watch the numbers in the corner.

  • @holin59 i have fraps but i dont know how to activate the benchmark thing

  • @TheMrPnj If you open up fraps, press the tab were it says ''99 FPS'', there you can see all benchmark info. Set the time, for how long you want the benchmark to be, start the game, press the selected hotkey, then a note file will be saved to a folder, standard C:\Fraps\Benchmarks (you can see it in fraps). When you're done, open that file and the benchmark results will be there!

  • @holin59 THX!

  • wow man i cant get 55 fps with gtx 560 ti on caspian border?

  • @DvirGamer What processor do you have? :)

  • @holin59 i5 2300

  • @holin59 i want to buy the computer with gtx 560ti and i5 2300 i mean

  • @DvirGamer Yeah then you should be able to get a good FPS on caspian. The processor i'm using is a bit stronger, but BF3 requires alot of graphics and not that much CPU power! :)

  • GTX 560 Ti or Ati Radeon hd 6950? :)

  • @EzZHD The 6950 usually get like 1-5 more FPS in some games. On the other hand, the GTX 560Ti gives you alot more FPS in for example Crysis 2!

Also, the Nvidia card supports PhysX, wich in some games improves the physics, have a look on Arkham City on youtube, search for physX Arkham city and you'll see some serius shit! :D

  • @holin59 hey buddy ;) i have a gtx 560 ti 2gb a amd buldozzer with 4x 3,8 ghz a windows 7 64 bit system and 8 gb ram i cann max out this game at have constantly 50fps at every map only caspian border like 30-35 but its still ok ;)

  • @bfbc2fanclub Wow nice! :D It might be because you have a 2Gb version, i'm using the 1gb and Battlefield requires lots of memory when the settings are set on ULTRA! :)

  • Guy, Texture Ultra and all High.. FTW

AAx16 and play BF3 very nice

  • So if i use this settings on a GTX 560 TI From Asus what FPS do i get !! Asus GTX560 TI Stock Clocks 6GB Mem.Ram 1333 Intel i3 2100 3.10Ghz Windows 7 @ 64bit Resolution : 1024x768 75hz Texture Quality :High Shadow Quality:High Effects Quality:High Mesh Quality:Ultra Terrain Quality:High Terrain Decoration:High Antialiasing Deferred:Off Antialiasing Post:Off Motion Blur:Off Anisotropic Filter:1x Ambient Occlusion: Nvidia Control Panel Settings on High Performance.
  • @AvAThinkClear 40-80

  • Comment removed

  • by the way, what do you use to record your vids??

  • what resolution?

i just got the 560 without ti casue guy in the shop said ti is just oc'ed version?

  • @alramd i think the Ti was limited, not sure. Because i ordered myne few days ago and couldnt find Ti my self, so went for just normal gtx 560

  • I have

    8 gb ram

    gigabyte gtx 560 ti oc (1024mb) 1gb

    intel ocre i5 2500k 3.3 ghz

so i can run it on ultra but the high settings gets more fps?

  • thanks man, nice vid)

  • wired that texture get only 11mb... They usually get 1,5gb in ultra setting and this is why 560ti 1 gb can't handle it

  • @IEvildevilI Okey thank you. It runs smoothly sometimes though! ;)

  • @IEvildevilI Don't talk baby shit..

GTX 560 ti 1gb or 2gb does not have any change in performance what so ever...

only 2-5 fps which you can't tell it any way..

  • @VoLtrex31 I actually think it does, no 1gb card can run it on ULTRA without drops. It requires like Evil said, more memory.

  • @holin59 Learn more about vRAM and what it does.

Here is a short lesson : more resolution is using more memory since the display is larger. and more textures to process .

Each video card is designed to pull a different resolution.

GTX 560 Ti designed to run DualScreen f-HD configurations with out FPS drop .

Battlefield 3 is designed to run on 1gb video cards and thus why GTX 560 Ti does not have any issue (Driver and bios are awful) to run it on 1920X1080 native.

  • @VoLtrex31 But if you use SINGLE DISPLAY with 1920x1080 with more then 1giga of vRAM like 2giga your video card won't use more then 1.2 memory what so ever. and thus why you will get like 2-5 fps boost. theoretically!!!

Again thats how it was 6 or 5 years ago.

  • vad heter den sista låten? :) allra sista i slutet =)

  • @Filmonsss Dragon Rider - Two Steps from hell! :)

  • @holin59 ultra go for 580? Lol nah, i'll go for 560 ti SLI.

  • @shortway444 Yes that is a possible solution. Just make sure that you have a computer case with good airflow, and also make sure that they are reference design, because then they blow the air out of the case on the back instead of just blowing it out on the 2nd GPU.

  • Do you see a big difference betwee high settings and ultra settings?

  • @tanktankist No i don't see any difference when you're just playing. Maybe if i look very closely at small rocks, grass and so on but still no :)

  • @holin59 do u think the i5 2500k will bottleneck with 590?

  • @shortway444 No i don't think it would. My processor is at about 40-60% when playing this game!

  • Bad :(

  • @tanktankist No it's not! :o The i don't understand why people think that the GTX 560Ti would max this game out so easy?

Great graphics means that you need a great GPU!

The GTX 560Ti is very very good for it's price! But if people really whant to max it, then the 580 is the best chooice, Very expensive though!

DICE could have either made the graphics worse so people on low budget cards could max it, or just make it so awesome that only the really powerfull cards could max it!

  • Can you get more FPS without Fraps?

  • @tanktankist No it's about the same. :)

  • how much of a difference would a 2gb 560 make?

  • @paradox817 I don't know. Probably a small difference but nothing huge though!

  • @holin59 Was the "Field of view" maxed? It's at 70... and i don't know what's the max :S

  • If you dont record ultra its ok?

  • how did you record this? with fraps? if yes how can i make a longer vid ? it automaticly makes more than 1 vid which are all short ones

  • @ninosM1 You need to buy the full version!

  • @holin59 ok tnx :D

  • Great man really helped me out What was that song at the end?

  • Ultra settings come with 4x deffered AA, besides the post-processed one. They don't do all that much, but you'll find that they eat up a lot of performance.

  • Turn the aa down to 2x it improves fps alot and no difference in mage quality

  • Tack som fan, har undrat länge över om kortet är kraftigt nog! :)

  • Wow thanks! I wasnt sure on what video card to get but now the gtx 560ti seems to run BF3 really nicely and it has a decent price.

  • wow thats impressive, how did you keep it on max 50 frame rate on ultra whats your settings your using?

  • @NitrousXProductions My specs is found on my channel. 50FPS is very high for a 560Ti on ultra, not sure why it got so high! :o Dont expect it to be that high at all times! ^^

  • 50fps is a good gaming FPS?

  • so this card does run on ULTRA but with 30-50 fps thats good enough for me :D

im gonna get he same card but it has BF3 with it :D

  • @ninosM1 Remember, this game needs a good processor. Make sure you have atleast a four core processor. And also remember that the FPS drops to about 20 at times, depends on the situation and on the map. Don't expect to being able to play it on ULTRA, it wont run 100% smooth! ;)

  • @holin59 i have an AMD 955 CPU btw did you have AA and MSAA on ? cause if you turn them off youll have more FPS and sinds AA and MSAA arent really visible ingame they arent really needed

  • @ninosM1 x4 AA and x16 AF, not sure if it's max but if you turn it down i'm sure you would be able to play it on Ultra. The AMD 955 is not the most powerfull CPU, but it's well enough to play it. My processor is at about 60-70% when playing, and you should peak about 90% with your CPU. I recomend though to just keep it at HIGH, i don't see anny difference in the graphics and it runs more smoothly!

  • @holin59 thanks man ;P

  • Very good video! I have looked for something like this for a long time :D

  • Ohh snap dawg!
