If you watch clips of him, he did it a lot in the AHL.

Because Gillies at times doesn't seem to care about the rules of Hockey. He seems bent on something more personal.

Many teams - not just the Pens - have been running our players and giving cheapshots. Marc-Andre F***-face laughing it up at Johnson elbowing DiPietro in the head just caps it.

If you play any competitive sports, you stick up for your teammates. I don't condone injuring other players and Gillies deserved his suspension, but any Pens fans grousing at this and supporting Matt Cooke & Ulf Samuelsson is a hypocrite.

All they said was after the fight with Talbot the ref's let him up and then he went afterJohnson. The ref should have made him go off the ice, like they normaly do.And watch a few games or highlights, yeah itsthe Pens commentators, but if they see a Pens player take a cheap shot, they WILL call like that too, done it before
