I like the game for its dead-loyal rendition of various scenes of Berserk... but my god the gameplay is... Awful isn't quite the right word here, but there's something really wrong when you can finish the entire level with just one finger tapping the square button without even having to steer the analog stick.
How far does the game take you, and who's the last boss? I'm thinking it might be that Kushan King, who could transform into a lightning blasting ethereal body
it pretty closely folows the manga from volume 22-27. It has the fighting with Zodd on the hill of swords, it has a bit of original storyline and a character thrown it, and it ends after Gurunberd. You fight the dragon version, and then just to make it an awsome ending, you fight Zodd's apostle form as the Berserker, and it wraps up after that.
It's very simple gameplay, but it's still very fun. But don't confuse simplicity with difficulty, hard mode Final Zodd and 100-animal murder mode Zodd have killed me so many times. Just beat hard mode last night, in fact..lol.
But yeah, gameplay is a lot of square button mashing,with an occasional other button pressed (depending on if you wanna use items or allies, berserk mode, block/recover, dodge, or the triangle attack which is cool but not as useful as square)
It is out, just not in english. I doubt you'll ever see this game released in the states, and although part of me wishes it did come to the states, another part of me feels that if you really are dedicated to the story, you'll learn japanese anyway.
