Sure, for examples, I was using a HTC MDA at least a year before Iphone was put on the market. I still have my Tmobile MDA in my storage. The earliest touch screen phone OS that I know of was Windows mobile 2003 . Microsoft just didn't do enough marketing on their touch screen phones, so most people mistakenly believe that Iphone was the first touch screen cellphone. Google HTC MDA.

For your info, MDA was released in Feb 2006, and the first iphone was released in June 2007. There were Ipaq PDAs made by HP that run on windows mobile OS with GSM cellphone function and they were even before the MDAs.

lol got an HTC TyTn II off ebay for 200 USD... It has: wifi, gps, bluetooth, 3g (HSDPA), a touchscreen, qwerty flipout keyboard, tilting screen, front facing and rear facing camera (rear camera is 3MP), runs on windows mobile so it has more software support, i heard they've got android to work as well, Manilla 2d and 3d as well as the cube interface and it isn't stuck to at&t because i bought it unlocked.... and this is a phone that was released only 2 months after the first iphone...
