When you break it again theres a much better way of fixing it. I used a team associated rc18t rear shock tower and fit it to the front end. I also used the rc18 shocks and mouted them into the stock bandit control arms. Now it is indestructable and has adjustable oil filled suspension. You can see how i did it on dragonhobbies website
I member when I had the bandit it was my fav rc car but then my cousin was playing with it (I had to share) and drove it off our stairs at problt max speed and let me tell ya that thing got some air lol but then it broke ! ...and then I got the dodge viper rc car that thing was so fast it went under someones car and shorted out I still have that somewhere how would i fix it ? I have lots of rc cars laying around i need help fixing them

Does anyone know if you can still buy battery packs for these? or make them some how? , i have a bandit brand new never used and a fat traxx brand new used once both still in packaging and not a battery between them, DAMN!
@gangoa07 its just 8 AAs connected in series with a plug. battery technology has really advanced a lot since the era of these tyco cars. i think it would be worth your while to do this.
DUDE you brought back so MANY fun times by showing this stuff.. I had a bandit typhoon the fast traxxx I even had the big truck with the yellowish green rims can't remember the name.. I think it had hammer in the name.. anyway our family was into all the tyco's.. I once took a tyco Lambo rear end and fabbed it to a old bandit .. twin motor bandit.. fastest one on the block till i hit a puddle.. anyway Thanks man.. enjoyed the vids..
I'm trying to find out the name of a couple of old Tyco (I think) R/C cars from the '90s. One I thought was called the Rattler, and had 10 wheels, but I can't find anything about it on Google. The other, all I remember is that it had these expanding rear tires that ballooned as it got faster, and they advertised that it could hit 200 mph (scale speeds, obviously). So if you remember these, or could point me to someplace that had the information, I'd appreciate that.
