Gandhi has become inseparable part of Indian history. He did great job but he did mistakes as well, after all he was also human.Unfortunately , for a man with his kind if responsibility, mistakes are unforgivable.
For me Gandhi is no more than Bhagat singh, Savarka, Tilak, Lala lajpatrai, Valabbhai Patel and many more. all these people had same caliber.

even seeing this scene is so painful, we cant ever imagine how much pain these real heroes had felt and still there was smile on there faces coz of inner satisfaction of sactrificing themselves for the country.

If Ghandhiji wanted he coud have save BHAGAT SINGH but GANDHIJI didnt do, because he was frightened of BHAGAT SINGS popularity!!!!
BHAGAT SINGH had said if we will get INDEPENDENCE in this situation the rich will be more rich and poor will be more poor and later it became TRUE!!!!
But I HAVE RESPECT FOR BOTH GANDHIJI AND BHAGAT SINGH BECAUSE THEY BOTH TRIED FOR INDEPENDENCE, 1 SUCCEEDED IN GETTING INDEPENDENCE FOR HIS PEOPLE AND ANOTHER LAYED HIS LIFE TO GET INDEPENDENCE FOR HIS PEOPLE!!!!

yes dear your are right that they have done great job according to their own ideology. So, yes there is no way to compare these two and thousands of other great souls. But it is not worthless to discuss the best. I respect your feelings that compare cannot be done between peoples but there is comparison between ideologies. And we have to compare.

Gandhi was a good philosopher and stood for what he believed in...but it took the country nowhere.................gandhi is responsibl for the present state of affairs.....he has inculcatd the habit of passively accepting whatever atrocities your enemy imposes upon you.......bhagat singh would not have tolerated any of this.....he would have knocked down the enemies cold....

@poraskp lmaooo at this comment. Terrorists? Ones a freedom fightom another is a terrorist. Gandhi kept the British in India for a very long time. He could have saved Bhagat Singh and many other freedom fighters. Name me one thing Gandhi did that helped Indias Independance? The only reason he is so popular is because the British gave him so much media attention and recognition as he was simply helping the British more than India.
