Didn't you notice he called her Joshua? He kidnapped her to replace his dead son Joshua. She was made to dress in his clothes so she would look like Joshua. This is also why Wendy refers to her in their letters as the Prince.

I just realized the correlation between Gregory's story about how he "takes the peas home, and shows them to Joshua [...] buries the pea outside, grinds up the pea..." and the children's song from earlier:

"Tuesday's pea tried to flee. Wednesday's pea... something something" lol I don't remember! But they were singing about how the "peas" were taken away and never heard from again.

Damn this game is twisted! Someone please make this into a live-action movie!

Wendy seems like the only character that is nice and doesn't depend on Jennifer or betrays her. She's, like, the only normal girl in the orphanage. She's my favorite thus far.

The song suggests that Stray Dog 'gobbles up the peas.' The peas are the children. Stray Dog doesn't literally eat them, but it seems apparent that the children were maimed.

Greg snapped Wendy's neck after killing everyone else, and then Jen gave him the gun and he shot himself instead of killing her, because he saw her as his son, Joshua, who had died before Jen was kidnapped by Greg from the wreckage of the airship.

I knew that he saw her as his son, Joshua, but I didn't know what he did to Wendy o.o' so.. there was an airship accident that was carrying all the orphans, Jen was kidnapped by Greg and excaped. Wendy got jelous of her fussing over Brown, she then told the others to kill Brown. When Jen got mad at her she brought Greg back. He killed everyone except Jen and she then lost her memory of Wendy and Brown. Altering it alot- including Mr.Hoffman's sexual abuse towards some of the children. Right?

Close. Wendy had the Aristocrats give Jen a proposal - either they killed her, or they killed Brown. Since she was so afraid, she let them kill Brown, and then when she found out it was Wendy who ordered it, she became infuriated and hit Wendy. She renounced her membership as an Aristocrat, and called out everyone, including Diana, Meg and Eleanor. Wendy became upset, and got Gregory to go and 'gobble everyone up.' The end result was Gregory going into a rage and eventually killing Wendy herself

but not before Wendy could tell Jennifer how sorry she was, and gave Jen the gun she'd stolen from Greg. Jen then gave Greg his gun when he hesitated, believing her to be Joshua, and Greg ended up killing himself in front of her. She did relive the memories in a different way, but the truth of everything came out in the end. Mr. Hoffman did molest Diana, and ended up impregnating Clara and performing an abortion on her.

The airship was only carrying Jennifer and her parents, not the whole orphanage. It was during the war and it would be impossible for an orphanage to afford tickets.

But, the children often dreamed of escaping that place in a zepellin (that resembled a whale) and you see this in Wendy's drawing.

Why's the game in an airship, though? 'Cause it's Jen's memories mixed together- the airship, Gregory's home and the orphanage.

I reccomend Rule of rose mysteries site. It explains a lot.

I don't think he kidnap just Jennifer, but a lot of children from the orphanage and they wear joshua's clothes, plays with his toys... but when he find out that they weren't Joshua... he kill them and eat them, as a pea soup.

Yes Brown dies, the Aristocrats killed and buried him after making Jen choose her life or his. Remember everything you see in the game is Jen's convoluted memories, it isn't until the chapter Once Upon A Time that she finally begins to see things for how they really were, through adult eyes. When she locks puppy Brown safely away in the shed she's locking him safely away in her memories.

Gregory used to kidnap children. And the 'peas' he speaks of are the kids. He eats them.

He calls Jen Joshua because he just lost his son and went mad. He made her wear boy clothes and have short hair.

The boy clothes on the bed are actually a corpse (in the game's final boss battle you see the orphan's clothes) 'cause Jennifer DOESN'T want to remember that. If you want to learn more, I recommend ruleofrosemisteries site.

Like Hansel 'n Gretel, in the ever popular children's tale a child-eating witch would be living there. Gregory's house is known in Jen's memory as Gingerbread house.

Now, after getting a 'new Joshua' he's left with a problem "Take care of Joshua. Clothe him AND feed him. But how?" As gross as this may sound...there's a slight possibility he fed Jennifer the kidnapping children's corpses. Or at least what's left of them.

Why do I say that? I never saw peas in Gregory's house. Not a field or anything but if you go to either the kitchen and the bathroom you can see blood...

She stayed with Gregory until Wendy stole her away. Hence the reason why she helps you escape the basement.

I believe she went to the orphanage on...March,I think, according to Amanda's diary. So after the plain crash, Jen could've wandered into Gregory's house on her own or he found her and brought her back.
