  • Was this remake ever completed in the end?

  • makes me cry ! GOOD iDEA, AWESOME WORK GUYS ! KEEP IT UP.

  • WOW!!! AMAZING REMAKE INCOMING!!!

  • was really hoping i'd see this arriving on the app store by now :-( its been ages....

  • we are working on a few other things so havent done anything on myth for a while, we will get back to it sometime tho

  • @smila007 release it like this!

  • @smila007 Just the music is enough for me.

  • Another year has passed, when the game will end?

  • Magnificent. You are a true artist.

I am impressed by the refurbished graphic details.

When will it be ready for download?

  • the C64 version had a terrible steering!

  • looks good, nice music.

  • WANT!!!

  • great! amazing re-mix and graphs. I hope you finish it asap.

    Thanks

  • So the human skeleton has about thirty femurs, judging from this. That skeleton "death" animation is one thing I would wish changed.

  • Like the remix of the original theme

  • how long is still missing? You did a great job here! Good work!

  • Awsome!

  • I appreciate your effort and levels like the Maelstrom are actually really good looking, but I still like the Amiga version best.

  • Amiga version is good, c64 version still tops for me.

The amiga has that bland generic main character.... yeeeuk

  • True, I'll give you that. The main character from the spectrum and c64 is more interesting.

But when you compare all three versions the C64 is neither as good as the amiga nor as good as the spectrum. Ideally it ought to have been the same as the spectrum game with the C64 graphics.

  • @smila007 Amen to that! :)

  • @smila007 I agree, i had the C64 version first and then i got it on the Amiga and the change in the main characters look just made it as you said, feel "yeeeuk", not to mention the Amiga version had really unresponsive sprite movement and i just didn't feel right to play, whereas the C64 version i couldn't fault except for the fact it would crash every bloody time i got to the level with the Pyramid (oh the joys of cassette tape).

  • @smila007 C64 version wins for me. Amiga is full of win for me

  • @markhypnos Apologies, what I meant to say is the c64 version is the best and the amiga version sucked.... amiga rues though

  • this looks amazing where can I get it?

  • its not finished yet - maybe next year

  • I hope it will be released !!! Great great !!

  • The ingame music is maybe from Infamous :), but this remix under the video is from Suvak Zajos. Please at least mention it in the info or change it to the real Infamous ingame music. Thanks.

  • Looks awesome. Can't wait to play it.

  • where can one get this track? it's insane.

  • Yeah, its totally pwns, a live version is on my profile pages favriotes

  • Comment removed

  • waiting for the myth

  • Is there a website for this remake? Looks great!

  • we havent finished it yet, soon as we have i'll post a link.

  • I've dug around and this doesn't sound at all like the Infamous remix; either that or it's a different 'Infamous'.. Feel free to correct me..

  • you are indeed correct - the title remix isnt infy's

  • Looks mad, i was just playing the c64 version and stumbled on this looking for a manual. Can't wait till it's done!.

  • You are a fine programmer! When will it be finished? Will it be commercial?

  • thanks ;), its on hold at the moment while we finish off armalyte - myth will be free when its finished.

  • Looks great !!

  • i absolutely must get this, brings back so much childhood memories...

  • Looking forward to this version. Great music and gameplay

  • I love the theme music in MYTH C64 version!

  • And "another" fine job here Smila007 !!! You have a real knack for remakes and i awake this one with much anticipation! Thank You yet again!!! :)

  • how i find this game please somebody help me

  • the game isnt finished yet

  • It was already remade on the Amiga, which is by far better than the C64 version, and certainly a lot better than the Conan incarnation on the NES.

So where to get this remake?! The main character looks dumb, but other than that, looks great!

  • the c64 version was better than the amiga version.

  • I agree. This looks fantastic but the main character does look very very wrong!!! I can only guess that the makers of this game are changing the character to a ginger nerd who goes back in time to fight mythical monsters due to the skinny body, wastecoat(?) and white trainers.

What's happened to the big mad blue-haired mentalist from the original?!!

  • I replied to you in the other Myth Amiga music vid but i'll say it here again lol, your character in the C64 version was an ordinary joe like the rest of us, wearing jeans, trainers etc. This being a remake of the C64 version stays true to the look of the character. It was only in the Amiga version where he looked every bit the norse warrior dude with sword, helmet etc. I love both versions though & still own 'em on Amiga & C64, but I reckon the 64 version is better, just 'cos it's C64 :-D

  • thats because its based on the c64 version not the amiga version.

  • Well the big mad blue-haired mentalist was "not" from the original, because Myth was originally released for the C64 first and foremost and then ported to the Amiga much later. Personally though i much preferred the Character in the C64 version which is represented in this one mainly due to the fact that it gave the game of feeling of (as Ironlord said) a feeling of an everyday guy like us all caught back in time :)

There are too many games already with a muscle bound meathead as it is.

  • I would love a remake of Vendetta, Last Ninja 1,2 & 3 and Tusker, all classics made by System 3 (now called Studio 3)

  • Smila mate, any nearer to completion/release? I am dying to get playing this one ;) Love the C64 & Amiga versions, not to mention the stunning music :-D

You guys are very talented at what you do, i've played a few of your remakes and they always impress me...Cheers! :)

  • wont be till next year sometime fella, we are probably 60% done so a long long way togo.

  • Sorry for late response to your reply mate, but Cheers for the info, really looking forward to playing Myth :-D As "GirlsHateMeVeryMuch" said, remakes of Vendetta, the Ninja games, & Tusker, would indeed be very cool, & most welcome. BUT, you guys are busy remaking other classics, & we don't expect miracles of you :-D One game I still love to play on my 64, or emulated on my PC is Paul Woakes' 'Encounter', what a classic & still thrilling game to play even now, a remake of that would be ace :)

  • Gosh! I never knew that! I've only ever played it on the Amiga and didn't know the other format had a different main character. Thanks for this letting me know matey!

  • No probs mate ;) If you want to see the C64 version in action there's plenty vids on here...various ones, plus even a walkthrough video by C64 longplay I think which will show you the game to completion, sll good :-D

  • where can you get this guys?

  • Can't wait to be able to play this, I own both the C64 and Amiga versions. I have the cassette and cartridge versions on the C64, and the very nicely packaged version in a small and neat little box on the Amiga. One of the best games ever, not to mention some of the best game music ever. Is there an official release date for this yet? Or will we just get it when we get it? :-D Looks and sounds totally stunning anyway, I WANT IT NOW!!! LOL.

  • any plans for an amiga version?

  • its on pc

  • In withch platform, pc or console ?

  • Wow. Amazing work, guys! The ship at night was especially well done.

    Keep up the great work.

    And count me in!
