this isn't spam.... But photoplus is similar o photoshop but free. It is AMAZING. I had a hard time finding it cuz most of the links were fake :S and the website i got it from doesnt work anymore. I'm not advertising, I just think it needs more credit :P

Easy way i use print house magic a very old easy programme to use .You get your main picture and copy it. You get both pictures on print house magic together you alter one to your colour choice ,Then Merge it onto the other its that simple.You can even turn one picture to black and white and merge colours onto the black and white.

ok nvm i figured it out, you just have to make sure the quickmask tool is selected and the opacity is at 100% while the brush's hardness is at 0%. it unselects itself, idr quite how but that's what happened to me!

Choose quickmask from the tool bar. The light red colour is not going to be the final colour its just the colour of the mask you are creating, you are creating an area that you want to change the colour of. So paint the area you want to change with the red mask and your away. That probably makes no sense so look for other tutoials on here were they will walk you through step by step. I have just started to teach myself to, good luck

It works with people that have light colored eyes...but what about for people that have brown eyes???

You could try to make a copy of the selection to a new layer, then lighten it by pressing CTRL (or CMD on a Mac) + U and messing with the two sliders. When it's lighter you should have better success at changing the colour. Just be sure to add the mask on the new layer instead of the darker one, if that makes sense.

Did you have the brush tool selected? Press B. Also, were you in Quick Mask Mode? Press Q. Make sure you are painting with Black. After you are done painting make sure you press Q again. you should see the dashed line or marching ants. Don't forget to inverse the selection.

you need to set it to quick mask mode, which is the icon of a circle in a rectangle, the second button from the bottom of the main toolbar.

A shortcut of this would be to just press "q"

This can be because the picture's resolution is too low...

try zooming a photo taken from a 8mp cam at highest resolution, it doesnt get too bad :)
