Yeah, 3 years ago - maybe more. Not anymore man, not anymore. When he's healthy it's just a miracle. Too bad about the Rockets man, Yao being such a bust - both him and McGrady having such a hard time staying healthy.
It'll be funny, they'll trade McGrady and Yao will be out the whole season. Bummer.
5 Years ago McGrady might have been a top 10 player, not anymore, even if he could survive a whole season he wouldn't make it into the top 25.

Yao will miss the first half of the season AT LEAST. They're panicking by saying it might be career ending - then agian they have to say it because it's true. IF anything he's back for the last 1/4 of the season and ready for the playoffs - should the Rockets even make it.
Then again, I don't expect you to be an avid basketball fan, what with your name (Zelda - seriously?) but then again, crazier shit has surprised me.
How many full seasons has Yao played, can you tell me?

T-Mac might be out for the first 20-30 games of the season. And since Sac. absolutely NEEDS a good 5th pick, they arent going to risk it for a player as injury prone as T-Mac. He may be amazing healthy, but its a risk Sacramento cannot afford to take, not having a star player in the first 20-30 games of the season. I heard T-Mac may go to new york or something...a team that can actually afford him will go well with im. Hopefully he gets better.. lots of talent.

ill give them credits for taking lakers to game 7 but you gotta be crazy to say they were a legit contender at the stage when they lost yao. hawks took boston to game 7 last year but they were far from considering as a contender. rockets will be very good next year if EVERYONE can stay healthy. and as a legit contender, they gotta be in top 4 teams in the league next year

steve francis and marbury two of the top 5 most athletic guards in the league in the early 2000s never were the same after knee troubles in their late 20s/early 30s and they didn't even have microfracture srugery. I dont think mcgrady will ever be near as good as he was 5 years ago.
