The population of Pyongyang is equal to Toronto. So where are all the people, shops and cars? Where is everything that make a city?

There are many shops in pyongyang its just that only about 10 are occupied in the entire city because thats all the government can afford to run and not many shop at them anyway, thats why you see 100's of empty shop fronts there. If you are making 3 dollars a month as a 'common worker' how can you afford a $5000 car? Only high ranking party officials can have those. The DPRK is very strange, yet very interesting.
