If there is ever a time in which my life veers toward purposelessness, I hear something like this and remember that there is still a portion of that "very good" left in mankind, and I strive to emulate it.

TSO is the only christmas music i actually listen too, everything is way too giddy and commercialized, its either this or the original orchestral/choir pieces written by the greatest composers of all time!!!

let's play the song at half speed, take out the sweet melodies, and have a singer worse than the guy from the phantom of the opera movie sing it. it will be great.

Crazy - get rid of the rubbishy first three minutes, call it 'Reading By The Light' and this is a number one Christmas record in a Jim Steinman/Meat Loaf style. The second half is fabulous.
The song, plus the story behind it is moving. Lyrics are standard work but you cannot fault the music at all. Simply astounding work from TSO. It is my ambition to see these guys live one day.
I wanted to see their Christmas show so badly!!
