Reason I hate Jacob is simply because of his attitude. No offense, I know he protected Bella with his whole life and that's cool, but I don't like the way he treated Edward in Eclipse (Especially in the tent. I mean, c'mon, he hurt Edward so badly emotionally), and I don't like the way he kissed Bella while she didn't even want to. Nor am I fond of how he forced Bella to kiss him. He was okay in Breaking Dawn, though, aside from the imprinting thing. XD

Ease up! xD It was just my opinion, no offense intended. Surely Edward was pissed off; I would be, too. But he /was/ hurt. Edward knew Jacob had forced Bella to kiss him, and he was saddened that he couldn't lay with her in the sleeping bag and provide her warmth like Jacob did. How would you feel if your 'enemy' was sleeping with your girlfriend, because you couldn't give what she needs yourself, and all you could do is watch?

While Jacob was merely thinking of himself, basically, well... "laughing" at Edward, because he knew Edward could never do what Jacob could -- warm Bella. Edward is being forceful, because of what could happen to Bella. I think it /was/ for her safety. Victoria nearly got to Bella on the reservation in New Moon, remember? I think Edward was just a little hesitant about letting her go. Wouldn't you want to be with your love, to make sure she's safe, if such dangerous things were going on?

Yeah Jacob can be a dick at times, that's the only reason I didn't ever change from team edward. He kind of manipulated bella so she became horribly confused.

Not that she didn't love jacob on her own but he caused her more pain than he helped her I think.

Because when Edward returned,

He was shocked by what happened on her 18th birthday party and decided that he and his family really were way too dangerous for her. And, well, I suppose they're right.
