Just viewed your vid on 6 plait challah. I must admit, you make it very simple to braid, other videos have really complicated ways in doing it. I do my four strand challah slightly different to this, by by having all the strands laid out into a cross chape, then i bring the top one to the bottom, and the bottom one to the top, then the right one to the left and then the left one to the right and repeat. Similar to how you make decorations out of strips of coloured paper. Thanx for the lesson!

I have a question please. why every time when I want to braid my challah dough as I put the straps(ropes) on the desktop so all my dough (ropes) shrink shortening and hard to work with bands. It's drives me crazy. I used high gluten flour and replacing it with other types but it happened to me again!!!! Where is the problem? i will be happy if some one can help me with that problem !!!
