This Stang does have SLP LM2s with stock H, stock manifold, but with no cats.

If this is indeed a LM2 setup. My setup was properly installed and it didn't sound like this with the stock H-pipe.

I can think of three possibilities why this doesn't sound like mine did.

Either this guy has LM1's, or LM2's but with no cats, or LM2's but he didn't use the two bolts that you're supposed to replace the two studs on the driver's side exhaust manifold.

Mine did sound like this when I didn't replace the two studs.

Do the SLP's need to 'warm up' a little before they start sounding mean? when i cold start my 04 Gt with SLP LM1 to pop down to the local 7-11 it sounds good but a little quiet, but after driving around for a while and then engine is all warmed up they sound great all round. hence the question.

I didnt notice any kind of warm up time needed. Sounded good all the time.

Picked up a Terminator, probably will be putting SLP on her as well. They sound phenomenal. I'll be sure to post a video of that too.

personally I like the slp lm 2. I think it sounds nice. I have not got to do much with mine so far, really trying to check out everything out there to be sure what I want. But I REALLY love that deep sound!!! Sounds great to me.

Too quiet at idle...then when you rev it sounds like shit!I hate SLP too trendy and not to mention a GM product lame...these systems seem to be pretty popular with the younger crowed because they don't know what real american muscle cars sounds like...BBK LT's,UPR O/R X-Pipe and Flowmaster AM Thunder is the best sounding set up hands down...

slp LM1 are badass, louder than the LM2 but they both sound good, i have LM1s on my 02 gt with an x with hi flos, nice car by the way

Slp lm2 have packing inside them as for the slp lm1 dont. Slp 1 is louder. I have lm1's with bbk longtube headers and off-road x (crazy loud) but i think either you love em or hate em... P.S. Car sounds GOOOD!!!

xxftwismymotto your a fucking moron slp is one of the best sounding AFTERMARKET exhaust you can get and yes they are very popular with CAMAROS AND TRANS AM because they sound good there also very popular with CLASSIC MUSCLE and the Mustang and every now and then a corvette will pop up with SLP'S there Loud and they make girls go GIVE ME A RIDE lol i plan on putting SLP's on my 71 Nova!

Thanks for the compliments. I installed a Bassani X pipe now and it really woke up the car.

For the haters. I was hanging out with a bunch of car guys the other night, and everyone wanted to hear it. Everybody LOVED the tone of the exhaust. A couple people actually were even planning on switching over to the SLP setup after hearing mine. Don't pass judgement just because of a brand name. The Product is made INCREDIBLY well. Top notch workmanship.

i agree Slp puts out some great parts, i Have an 2004 gt, (no vids yet), but love the lm2, it does put out a nice tone, alot of skeptics change there mind after hearing it in person. nice ride,
