her table really isnt too low. In college we were taught that the table should be even with our fists when our arms are at our side. However, our sub went to a different college (an expensive college!!) and his table was always allot lower. He is a good therapist so Its all in how you are taught. Using proper body mechanics, that is key!

The trick to massage therapy is to use the body instead of using just your arms (like thai chi).You'll wear yourself out! She has terrible body mechanics and doesn't relax the wrist when she's using her forarms. Deep tissue also involves going REALLY slow and to be aware of the different layers of muscle.. not to just go really deep on the back.. that's not technically deep tissue... . Monkeysee should really review who they are using for their videos.
Her movements are to create blood flow and to move fascia for better circulation and to warm the muscles to allow the therapist to get into the muscles for deep tissue.

The trick to massage therapy is to use the body instead of using just your arms (like thai chi).You'll wear yourself out! She has terrible body mechanics and doesn't relax the wrist when she's using her forarms. Deep tissue also involves going REALLY slow and to be aware of the different layers of muscle.. not to just go really deep on the back.. that's not technically deep tissue... . Monkeysee should really review who they are using for their videos.
