Mit denen braucht man keinen Sattel, nur Halfter und Seilzuegel die mit dem Halfter verbunden sind, und man kann gemuetlich reiten in der Natur.
the short tail is typical for these breed. i guess -but i'm not quite sure- they were breeded like this so that twigs can't get entangled in the hair. but i'm your opinion. i guess they have to suffer when flies come out.
@WRRtv They dont have that small tail naturally, the tail is simply cut off when they're very young, like on some dogbreeds. They naturally have a long tail just like any other horse.
Da wo ich im mom arbeite haben wir auch Kaltblüter. Die haben früher auch Holz gerückt. LEider geht das jetzt nicht mehr. Das sieht man auch nur noch ganz selten. Aber die Komandos werden bei uns immer noch verwendet. :) Find ich echt cool

Wußte ich auch nicht, aber Rückepferde brauchen gründliches Training um die Muskulatur auszubilden, die Sehnen zu härten und den Kreislauf zu stärken. Und sie müssen natürlich die Kommandos erlernen. Kann gut sein, dass die “paar Äste” eine Art Training für das Pferd waren.
eine frage hätte ich an dich lix90. dieses oval förmige holzteil das um den halsder pfer gelegt wird. drückt das denen nicht ? das ist doch bestimmt schwer oder ?

Das ist das Kummet. Es wurde über Jahrhunderte so entwickelt, dass es eben NICHT drückt oder Kollege Pferd so wenig wie möglich behindert!
