Hey man this is great! I just started looking into kayaking this week. What would i need to get started? obviously a boat and paddle but do u commend anything?
@speedavecl92 for fuck's sake dont forget about HELMET when kayaking,i've hit my head underwater so hard yesterday!! I'm sure I'd fall unconsniousnes and drawn, but thanks to helmet I'm still here :)
Ignore this 'Life Jacket' BS grab yourself a buoyancy aid (Kayak specific), a paddle that fits you (they should be able to show you in a shop. If not google it, a short or long sleeve cag depending on where you live/temperatures and a decent kayaking helmet. After that get yourself a decent boat, Pyranha, Wave sport, Necky, Jackson Kayak, Dagger and Fluid are all good makes avoid longer older boats such as 'Master lites' or 'dancers' as they tend to be very out-dated and heavy.
your backdeck helped me alot i now know wat it looks like and now i wont be afraid of smashing my face in to the back of my boat and by the way i'll be really impressed if u can do a loop

a) thats not a back deck roll, that starts off as a back deck but then for some idiot reason you push off the bottom?!?!?! why?!
b) back deck roll isnt a trick, its a different way to roll a kayak

This is not a back deck roll.
1. Dont over extend your arms.
2. Ensure keepin' your rectangle that you form with your arms, chest and paddle.
3. BDR is finished while paddle moving till the toes.
* You'r going up by a high brace!!!
