I'm surprised by how many people think Chieco sang this better than Manami, I love how clear and strong Manami's voice is!

There are several good mercury actresses, but no one really captured the roll as good as Ayako. (The others aren't bad, but they just didn't live up)

Yes Ayako-chan was the first and greatest...she set the standard for all to follow. Then my Chieko-chan is number 2 to me!

I prefer Chieko-san for this song; I don't think Manami sings it as well. However, she is a very good dancer.

How a song sounds often depends on who sings it. Like last night I listened to two versions of "The Last Change" -- one sung by Miyuki and the other by Marina. And I still prefer Miyuki for that song. But then Marina was really young going into SeraMyu (14 I think), so she would sound different than Miyuki.

Unless your dates are confused, Marina started with the 10th aniv. special of Sera Myu when she was all of 12 !

She grew up nicely after her debut!

Oh ok. I couldn't remember how old Marina was when she started. I just knew that she was the youngest actress to play Sailor Moon in SeraMyu. And I have watched some videos with her in them and I was like, wow she is so young!

Squeaky Jupiter had the role just prior to Mai Watanabi. 10th aniv. and Black Lady musicals i think.

Anyway, she had a very high pitched voice, but when she sang it was like totally out of character for Jupiter. Hence, Squeaky Jupiter!

Oh Sakata Kaori. I remember now. Didn't like her at all. Then there was the other squeaky jupiter at the Mugen fan kansha. Black Lady musicals jupiter was Sugimoto Ayano her voice was really high pitched.

i dont really like the first jupiter in terms of voice. i was all "WTF" when she had her little solo line in that vacation song. i expected a little bit deeper-ish, however, i LOVE Mai as jupiter, actually, i love all the marina moon inner senshi (at the time the musicals closed), as well as Nao/Yuuka. you cant beat Nao and Yuuka

Yes, i think the final cast helped close the show on a special level of excellence. All the girls were right for their roles and carried the final show off on a good note!

But i sure wish they would finish releasing all the remaining shows on DVD, the Marina collection just is not complete without "Black Lady."

I'd prefer that they put both out on DVD. I have both versions of all of Marina's shows and would like a complete set!

I would also like to see them release the full senshuraku last day show, i'd love to see all the ad-libs and goof ups that occurred.

I hate that they still think it's OK to do Anzas FFS last day and not release Marina & Sera Myu's final performance.

But i guess it's all about the money now and not about the fans.. :(

Erika-chan was not graduating from the show, only Marina, Mai and Manami ended their ties with the production company.

I assume everyone else who had multi year contracts moved on to other productions.

Yeah, it sucks because this was the last musical ever in the Sera Myu series, right? It would have been good to have all the girls get solos or even have Anza and other loved ones come back and sing.

I personally prefer Chieko's version of this song, but find this Mercury more kawaii than Chiekos. It's a matter of tastes... if I went for the singing, I'd pick Chieko. If I went for spirit, this one would be my first choice.

Chieco has the better voice for this song, but Manami has a better performance since she has more spirit. I think Chieco has a better look for Mercury, though.

your opinion is quit correct. Manami's spirit however, comes from the fact that she's 19 at graduation while Chi-chan was only about 15.

She has more stamina, hai, but she sounds like she's out of breath the whole time and it sounds like she's singing into a fan at times (her voice sounds a bit choppy). But she is very kawaii
