  • I've read something on the internett, that the next fallout will probarly continue on the West.

''I cannot say anything yet, but Mojave was fun right?'' Quote from a Fallout designer.

  • Wonder if Fallout will take place in Europe, south America, Africa or Asia once.

  • @SovietLenin1 Fallout feels like it should be set in America and only America because of the universe it has created.. i dont know it just seems like it bound to be in only america though i would love to see other places

  • @Zentrix97 And it cant create the same universe elsewhere? I dont see how it would be impossible at all.

  • @SovietLenin1 Obviously the destruction of Fallout's world isn't limited to the U.S., but a major defining feature of the entire series is that it's a satire of the mixture of optimism and paranoia that pervaded America following World War II. Considering that, a game set in another part of the world makes a lot less sense.

Also, could you be any worse at making sockpuppet accounts, or did you intend for it to be so glaringly obvious that you and MarxistLenin93 are the same person?

  • @Zentrix97 You mean because it's an American game therefore everything has to be centred around the US. Anyway who cares, I'd much rather see the US in flames and ash than Europe or Asia.

  • CAN'T WE ALL JUST SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE SONG!?

  • @minecrafter102 Apparently not.

  • Going on Any DLC... put all stuff away except for 1 weapon and 1 light armor.....

  • It's fine..but seriously the nuclear apocalypse doesn't belong in the desert..

  • @VisageZero

I couldn't disagree more with you. It doesn't belong in D.C.

  • @Testement117

Nukes don't belong in America, bro. That 'rebuttal' of yours made no sense.

  • @VisageZero

...wut. It's because the nuclear aftermath creates a desert, which in an area that's already desolate becomes a desert squared?

  • I've played both games, and I cant decide which is better. Both were just so much fun. I liked the change in atmosphere for New Vegas. If it didn't change, I'd feel like I was just playing Fallout 3 again.

  • i want another fallout, i love the last 2 games!

  • Fallout New Vegas is still one of my favorite games that I have played.

  • Fallout 3 was better gameplay and story wise....new vegas was better connenting

    with the old games

  • this is like the best no worded western song!!! i play the game to it xD

  • Why are people comparing fallout 1 and 2 to fallout 3? They're aren't even the same genre of game. By the way, to those of you hating on fallout 3, it deserves far more credit than you give it. Frankly, it may be one of the better games i've played.

  • I honestly don't like this game very much. Bethesda should drop Obsidian and go back the F3 style.

  • Obsidian= oblivion

  • Yeah, People who are hating on new vegas are more fan's of that litlte pocket universe known as "fall out one and 2 remixed with a splooge of Bethesda obsidian with a fallout paint job "Replace quests with pointless exploring of nearly empty buildings filled with rad roaches Fallout 3" New Vegas honored the spirit of the series.

  • INTENSE FUCKIN THEMES, I LOVE FALLOUT, FUCK ALL YOU HATERS WHO ARENT REAL FALLOUT FANS. FUCK YOU AND HAVE A FUCKING BAD FUCK DAY. *bangs radio*

  • Meh. Unless this track was meant to be more ambient than epic(or perhaps I should say dominant) I think it was too quiet. I myself prefer these kinds of sound tracks to be dominant. Of course, the ambient ones can sound really good too :p

  • Personally i prefer the Fallout 3 main theme... it has a feel of epicness to it.

  • I don't think it was lazy...it more like a throwback to the first two Fallout games. I mean, Fallout 3 really changed the whole Fallout experience, so, maybe they wanted to get in touch with their roots a little bit.

  • @Cjwilli1111 I love F3 but they just make the game in 3d and changed some things........enemies and decors the same as F1 & F2 and

  • @UNNAMED484 it would'nt be fallout if they changed the enemies and decor. 50's, irradiatted, and science-y, thts the theme for all the fallout games

  • @hellsgod69 Actually, the fifties thing wasn't as...blatant in FO1 and 2. Bethesda latched onto it to try to give the game some flavor, but hammered it so hard it wasn't funny anymore...

  • This song was the coolest in the game. The rest of the songs, though, were songs that had been used already in the original Fallout and Fallout 2...

...Which is friggin' lazy, if you ask me.

  • @CreedOfHeresy I Tend To Like When They Recycle Old Material, But You're Right. At Least Bethesda Didn't Mess Up With The Elder Scrolls. They Recycled, But They Altered The Songs Drastically At The Same Time. With Dragon Age Origins, Though, And Dragon Age 2, They Also Pretty Much Recycled. Lazily.

  • @CreedOfHeresy They Re-used songs from FO1 and FO2 because the game is set in the same area as the first two, and they wanted to give a nod to the first two games.

  • @MisterMortarious no they where set in california and fallout tactics in chicago and brother hood of steel was in texas so your wrong

  • @agtw12345 How am I wrong? Fallout 1 was set in california, as was fallout two, and fallout: New Vegas is set in california, I didn't even mention tactics or BoS...

  • @MisterMortarious well fallout 3 was in nevada and arizona but that was cancled

  • @agtw12345 o.0 what? Fallout 3 = nevada and arizona? Since when did DC get moved to the west side of the US?

  • @narutokan I think he's talking about Fallout 3 before the franchise was sold to Bethesda.

  • @frozen10 thank you

  • @narutokan go on fallout wiki for one second please

  • @narutokan .........................

  • @MisterMortarious I LOVE NEW VEGAS becuase how mush they talk about Fo1 and Fo2 from Klamath bob telling you about the chosen one, to Marcus and the oil rig enclave branch.

  • @MisterMortarious Yeah, and those themes fit the area perfectly.

  • this is just the main theme

  • @jackknife001 no shit

  • Really disappointed with the NV soundtrack in general. Explore tracks don't really have that spooky mysterious feel to them any more, and the radio songs aren't nearly cheesy and 50s enough. Oh well thanks for the upload.

  • @FailboatSkipper I agree. This soundtrack doesn't seem on par with Fallout 3.

  • @Spaatnuk It's because Fallout 3 really wasn't very good. And if you say that it was the best game, you've clearly never played the first two and New Vegas. New Vegas is very true to the originals. Fallout 3 isn't. It's just what they could scrap together to make a new Fallout game. New Vegas is that engine and system in a perfected state.

  • @CriticsConfession

Agreed wholeheartedly. However I do give credit to Bethesda for reviving the series with FO3, otherwise it would've remained a forgotten ip, only remembered by those who played it in the 90s.

One thing though, if I could, I would change Fallout New Vegas to Fallout 3 and rename Bethseda's to FO:Capital Wasteland. So much more deserving of the canonical Fallout entry.

  • @sson386 I also wholeheartedly agree. I'm so pumped for Fallout 4. I guess we'll most likely be hearing an announcement at E3 this soon-coming year.

  • @CriticsConfession Agreed. New Vegas is what FO3 should've been.

  • @CriticsConfession

I've played every game except Brotherhood of Steel in the series, and I can say that Fallout 3 is the same as NV.

New Vegas feels like a demo for Fallout 4, the engine is much better and so is the dialogue, but it was rushed, had more typos and was even buggier than Fallout 3 was (and that's saying something)

Despite the lore being screwed, Fallout 3 had better quests and areas to explore in my eyes, while NV had a much better challenge and story. DLC sucks ass for both.

  • @Droxxin DLC was great for NV. Mothership Zeta, The Pitt, and Broken Steel were the only good ones for Fo3. I've only encountered one bug in NV, and it was more of just the disc being scratched than anything. Meanwhile I bugged the fuck out in Fo3.

  • @CriticsConfession

point lookout was good, DLC in NV was short, dead money was garbage.

There are a lot of bugs in NV, especially on release, just like Fallout 3

pre-order stuff wouldn't have textures etc.

  • @CriticsConfession i agree with you fo3 is only oblivion for sci fi fans in my opinion

  • @CriticsConfession Bethesda made Fallout 3 so I honestly think its better then most other fallouts but maybe for fallout old-timers its not the same... I mean Bethesda does better with the Elder Scrolls

  • @CriticsConfession You my friend should know that most gamers hold fallout 3 dearly in our hearts and so that is an insult to us

  • @CriticsConfession

fallout 3 en fallout new vegas are both the best game's to me

  • @CriticsConfession The first two were great but i loved the style of Fallout 3 better. I don't know, it was my kind of game. Desolate and barren, yet beautiful and mysterious. The whole New Vegas concept was great but too many people in my opinion. Oh well, personal preference.

  • @Dduran115 I actually agree, Fo3 had the real feel of a wasteland, very few people, and a lot of gray/destroyed environments, FNV kinda had the same thing, just a person at almost every turn.

  • @Br0therh00dPaladin I felt new vegas was more true to the originals....also, of course there's gonna be tons of people here, there's freakin electricity in new vegas! I think they wanted to do a more "urban area" setting, as DC had a few settlements and tons of mutants in the city.

  • @yinjara Well true on the city, but I felt they filled the wasteland a bit much, at almost every turn there was a settlement and people. Could be just preference.

  • @Br0therh00dPaladin I disagree there is still a fair trek between settlements and its still dangerous in the mojave so i would of liked to see the settlements a bit more fortified, for example goodsprings , primm ect and once through the gate it to be full of people i cant help but feel that the strip and freeside feel a little empty, small gripes on an otherwise fantastic game

  • @pharoahjimhotep Can't argue with you on that, it is a great game.

  • @Br0therh00dPaladin You do realise Goodsprings, Primm, Searchlight etc are real towns in Nevada, and their in-game counterparts are very similar in New Vegas?

  • @darthbandon10 go on google earth and look at goodsprings it looks the same as the game its awesome

  • @pharoahjimhotep I know, well, barring the cars and no post-apocalyptic damage :p and the prospector saloon is the pioneer saloon in real life.

  • @darthbandon10 Really? That's pretty awesome. :D

  • @Br0therh00dPaladin It's obviously not a 1:1 scale to real life (otherwise it'd take an hour or two to hike between Primm and Nipton) but then this isn't a survival simulator...

  • @FailboatSkipper Im sry to say but Fuck u the NV soundtrack rocked.

  • @XxTheGamerXEXx ... did that really deserve a 'fuck you'?

  • @FailboatSkipper no lol just saying the fallout new vegas soundtrack rocked

  • @FailboatSkipper Thumbed down at the speed of light, guess you never played Fallout 1 - 2

  • @BloXboX37 I played FO1, let's face it the high point of that game is NOT its soundtrack.

  • @FailboatSkipper Nor is the fucking Fallout NV, just mute the music if you dont like it. They aren't supposed to feel "spooky" you are in a western desert with sunny days. Is that supposed to be spooky? Otherwise just install a mod and convert the FO3 music to Fallout NV. Thats it.

  • @BloXboX37 Dude, why you getting so angry? I know I can mute it, I'm not saying I wasn't able to, I'm just saying it wasn't that great a soundtrack, whereas in Fallout 3 I was perfectly able to enjoy the explore tracks. Not like I'm making a massive deal of this, Jesus.

  • @FailboatSkipper

"Desert Settlement Night" really *does* have that "spooky, mysterious feel" to it. It's definitely worth a listen, especially if you like ambient music!
