Hi hi! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some great things about it and my cooworker lost a ton of weight with it.
Natasha, I have a dilemma. I don´t have easy access to organic product, so, what is better: to have a balance diet with all kind of products OR to go non-organic and non-very-tasting fruit and vegetables? maybe this is a silly question, but for me it is a dilemma. I would like to know your opinion. hug you!
I'm going to be switching my major to food and nutrition studies this fall, so i'm pretty excited about that seeing as how i've been undecided for 2 full years and taking random classes in different fields in search of what my true passion is. To be fair, i thought i'd retort with another article, i thought was interesting. Of course, it goes against your article, then again that's the whole point. To view, both ends of the spectrum.
hey lady, are you still eating meat? perhaps you could do a vid on the differences u've noticed digestive-wise, energy-wise, wellbeing-wise between raw vegan diet n adding cooked meat to your diet... im curious.
Why do raw foodist's lose weight on fruit and juice where body builders gain weight on fruit and juice. My two favorite YouTube channels (besides RawRadiantHealth) are Scooby1961 and LifeRegenerator. Their diets completely contradict each other, but they are in excellent health.
@faheeta Scooby has chronic back and shoulder problems. Liferegenerator mentioned in an early video that he's had a headache for 8 years, so both have issues. Scooby, with his ill-informed, super-high protein diet, will no doubt feel the effects in later life, as is the case with mega protein consumers. As he does a lot of cardio and eats a mainly vegetarian diet (he says he eats fish once or twice a week), he is at least balancing out the dangers of his horrific protein intake.
@MePaulP Also, Liferegenerator is 40 years old and look and has the energy of someone 10-15 years younger. Scooby, who I think is 48; looks his age and has limited flexabilty & energy, judging on his videos.
We don't need "MEAT" nor did ever need meat in history to survive. Meat/dairy is mucus forming foods and causes inflammation in the lymphatic system, It's also very toxic to our bodies. Everything that is in meat, you can get from fresh leafy greens and fruits. There are countless reason why eating death is harmful to our bodies but I can't elaborate on each of them. You want to be ill free and cancer free, & many other illnesses free, eat plenty of raw fresh fruits and veggies, period.
@jrda128 "We don't need MEAT nor did we ever need meat in history to survive". I think i agree with you on that we should all be consuming many of our foods raw, especially vegetables and some fruit, except the statement on meat isn't accurate. I'm not saying people can't survive without meat, i think it is POSSIBLE with a lot of attention and detail to one's diet. If you look at history though, we've always survived on meat and that' just the truth. I'm not trying to defend meat here ------>
@MrAria44 Yes man has survived eating meat, despite its negative effects on health, not thrived! The physiology of our digestive systems shows we are designed to eat fruits, tender leafy greens and a minimal amount of nuts and seeds. The physiology of the human digestive system also shows we were tropical creatures. Animal products which are far from ideal for the human digestive system will result in a negative effect on the genes of any future generations.
@jrda128 I'm just trying to defend the bad rep meat has in our culture. There's a major difference between consuming grain fed sick cows and grass fed natural cows. If you choose to stay away from meat, i respect that. However, i can't agree with a statement that says we never needed meat in history to survive. That's just a very flawed statement. If meat was so bad, especially raw meat even, we would have been extinct a while ago.
@jrda128 Sorry to be kind of a dick and picking on your comment, but also "Everything that is in meat, you could get from fresh leafy greens and vegetables" bothered me. I'm sorry but this is very untrue. Meat isn't just about protein. There's plenty of important nutrients and enzymes including essential b vitamins not found in plants or fruit.Zinc, iron, omega 3's.
@MrAria44 Where do you think these animals get these sources from? Animals just don't have these minerals and vitamins just magically in their system, they get it from somewhere. A plant based diet has everyone of those vitamins and minerals in it. Avocado is rich in Omega 3's. Zinc is in vegetables and unprocessed sea salt and enzymes which is the life in all vegetables and fruits. Just by pass the death part and go str8 to the source. Eating meat is killin people and the environment.
@MrAria44 B vitamins are found in leafy greens, bananas, mushrooms, avocados, salad sprouts, currents, etc. As for B12, check out sweetjuicyfreelee com for her latest blog post! The other nutrients you mention are found in plant foods also.
@natureasintended Thx for the recommendation. I thought the author brought up some good points, especially about how vegans and vegetarians are targets of b12 deficiency by those who consume meat in the general public. I mean, as far as the 39% goes who consume meat and are b12 deficient, i find interesting and a bit confusing. Perhaps, there is something thats missing in there. idk. I'm still young (20) and i'm still in the beginning phases of finding the right diet for me. -->
Introducing cooked foods, raw, starchy foods or more than a very minimal amount of fat (including from nuts, avocados or olives) to a high fruit diet can cause digestive issues though. An all raw diet works best for me. Second best is an all raw diet with a small amount of cooked, fat-free food like plain potatoes. All the fruit and leafy green anti-oxidants have so many benefits :)
Fruit is essential to our bodies, I call brain food. I am considered a raw foodist and I eat a bag of naval oranges at least a couple times a week for breakfast. There is absolutely nothing wrong with eating tons of fruit as long as you are balancing it with a alkaline diet. You definitely want to eliminate all kinds of animal meat and dairy products. Animal foods are the cause of death because that's what it essentially is, is "DEATH" your eating.
You are able to obtain all the anti-oxidants and vitamins you need through plants and animals. (preferably organic, local, and grass fed) The problem with our society and the testing done on meat is that it's using grain fed processed meat. Instead of the chemicals, anti-biotics, and unnatural diet, the meat itself is being vilified for making us sick, when this isn't true at all in reality. Meat is essential, not fruit. Just my opinion, and i hope u could understand what i'm trying to get at.
@MrAria44 "They'll also tell you that cultures known for following high-meat diets, such as the Inuit and Masai, are perfectly healthy. However, I have conflicting information that includes reports that Inuits suffer from one of the highest osteoporosis rates in the world, and that the Masai do in fact suffer from cardio-vascular disease, arthritis and osteoporosis (particularly the males)." from rawforlife uk
@natureasintended That's interesting. I'm not too educated on these indigenous tribes so that strikes me as something i definitely want to look into. I know some of the basic information about tribes such as Inuit and Masai such as their high meat diet and whatnot. To be honest, i only mentioned Inuit because Natasha mentioned Inuit and that they ate fruit during the summer implying they were healthy and ate fruit and so for us to become healthy, it would be a good idea to consume many fruits.
@MrAria44 No worries, it's wonderful that you're open minded. Also there will be lots of factors influencing the longevity of people in tribes, including lots of physical activity, lots of daylight/sunshine on the skin, a strong sense of community, babies/young children being breast-fed, freshly picked plant foods included in the diet and no processed or junk food. Meat and dairy still have their negative effects on health though. Namaste!
I've come across many individuals trying to be healthy or have started a raw food diet consuming a dozen bananas a day and copious amounts of other sugary fruits thinking they are doing their body good and they will probably feel good too, especially compared to the diets they had prior. The truth is all that fructose and sugar is gonna catch up, not to mention all the foods they aren't consuming that the inuits primarily ate. (meat, organs etc). Fruit is not essential, as tasty are they are.
Well, i think you bring up a great point about fruit as a replacement for that candy bar or sugary snack, however i think it's best a person consume a very moderate amount of fruit per day. You mentioned the Inuits, and sure there diets may have included some berries in the summer doesn't really mean anything. Berries are a very low sugar fruit, especially when found in the wild. They are nothing compared to out current domesticated fruits such as bananas.
I would just like to mention also, what about the importance of food combining when dealing with a cooked diet? Fit for Life, Harvey Diamond, puts it forth pretty simply and his work has stood the test of time, about eating fruit alone, preferably first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Theory being that fruit consumed with a meal, or right after a meal, tends to cause internal fermentation and difficulty in digestion. I cured my heartburn using this principle.
natasha, nice video as always, but can you show us a proof you have a lower body, legs and feet? lol i hope you do! i mean i watch all your videos but you are always filming in the same angle hehe. i'm just a visual guy! haha. seriously. give us proof!
This is great, thank you for sharing. I find that for me, it's not about cutting out fruit when I tried low carb...I had to realize that I was eating too much breads and grains.

I can tell how much time and effort it took to make this video and channel. I hope you like mine and we can chat some time.
