Jeez, for winter?! Up in Canada, only idiots would wear those spike heeled ones in the dead of winter. If winter boots have heels they'd better be chunky 'cause there is NO getting around in our snow in spiked heels. Yeek! I couldn't imagine even trying.

when i went to japan i shopped in the more well known areas such as harajuku, shinjuku, and shibuya and i never found any shoe stores like this :-(

can you suggest some places where students shop and where more affordable clothes are sold?

There are TONS of affordable shops in Tokyo. You just have to deviate from the usual places. Takeshita Doori in Harajuku has tons of cheap shops; go down the side alleys for good finds. Also my town MACHIDA is on the western side of Tokyo, but they have LOTS of cute and cheap shops in the town center. We also have a 109 there; I think our shopping rivals Shinjuku/Harajuku/Shibuya.

Awesome. By the way, in a lot of your videos where there are Japanese women walking in places like on the streets or the train stations, you can see a lot of them wearing boots, especially among the female youth. Definitely popular.
