Another reason to NOT use Windows as a primary OS... or at least a reason to become conscious of what you click "ok" to. Not just because of this kind of treachery, but also 99% of viruses, trojans etc. are written for the Windows platform.

If you are concerned about intrusions of this nature into your privacy, switch to Mac or Linux! If you're computer illiterate, mac is a good choice, but Ubuntu Linux is pretty easy to use as well and it's free.
