Tuff Juice Butler is a Clipper. Peja hung 'em up. Dsteve is now a Net and Chandler a Knickerbocker. But they'll always be Mavs. We'll always have that speical love for 'em. Of course they lose jj barea, tyson chandler, stevenson and caron butler, but in return tjey won the sixth man of the year in Lamar Odom, Vince Carter that is playing like he was young again, and the rookie D.Wright that is making good games too. Well I think this year proves how important Phil Jackson was for the Lakers... And to be honest,seems to me Pau isn't that good and Kobe is once more a little too selfish...Anyway,you can never really rule out the Lakers,but I don't see them having it in them this year,I think it's time for them to start over...Their Dynasty is long ago done...Not really arguing,seems like we are on the same page...;)

Being from DC and never liking Dallas due to the cowboys, eventually I grew up and stories like Dirk and Jason Kidd always falling short of NBA glory, yes I was routing for them in the finals. That was a dam good team when they were hitting their 3 pointers and you cant forget about their size...CG Dirk, an inspiration to many who deal with those who doubt them but strive anyway.
