I think the thing that makes this scene so effective is the lack of music. Since there's no music to clue you in on what's about to happen (throughout the film) it gives such a haunting feeling of realism. Like you feel like your there.

I think the thing that makes this scene so effective is the lack of music. Since there's no music to clue you in on what's about to happen (throughout the film) it gives such a haunting feeling of realism. Like you feel like your there.
