  • Like this translation.Thanks

  • Dear @Anastiasia, whether your translation is right or wrong in peoples own opinions, I for one LOVE it, it makes the song even more emotive and powerful...

Thank you very much for taking the time to translate it... I truly loved it, and yes I did, yet again, have tears rolling down my face as I listened and absorbed your lyrics..

Best regards and wishes from Wales .. :0)x

  • wrong translation

  • there is no translation

  • これを作っているのが、同じ人間だとは信じられない。

  • Lisa Gerrard's songs cannot be translated as she sings in her own language.

  • well if it makes any sense ...after watching the film many times, 2 very special people i knew died within a short space of each other, both missing their beloved partners..this was the only music when they died that came to mind for their funerals ...now we are free, a lovely piece of music joining the 2 coulples with their loved ones....it makes me very sad every time i listen to it as i am so missing those special people xxxxxxx

  • This Song is translated in your soul, reach deep and it will answer you, as it did with this lisenter. Be careful if you seek the truth, the universe will reveal it's secrets to you if you have a sincere heart...it has no choice.

  • I think it's cool, my only question is how do you go about translating this kind of thing when it's not a real language. You've got more smarts and patients then me to figure this kind of stuff out.

  • Who cares about the translation. This song is gorgeouse.

  • yellow? wtf translation is stupid

  • different translation or not...I do still like it...its beautiful...thanks

  • translation is wrong lol

  • @icemannnnnn1

    No, it's just right.

  • @Anastasis300

Well actually there isn't a proper translation of this song available, for Lisa Gerrard sings in a language that she has made up herself. Its like a mixture of Latin, Greek, Hebrew and some sounds. She just wants to put emotions in her song, not words.

  • @icemannnnnn1

i agree there is no translation for these lyrics, they are a mixure of latin, gaelic and french and they have no true meaning.

  • Beautiful :-)

  • Lisa Gerrard does not sing this in any identifiable language in other words its not a language she uses her voice like an instrument such as she did in the main theme from Black Hawk Down.

  • so why is this one so different from the others?

  • @easynametoremember17

    Because I translated it differently.

  • @easynametoremember17 Because it's fucking IRISH GAELIC! can you translate a language older than anythinf g you can possibly fucking imagine? doubt it, so shut up

  • it's totally different translations from the others on youtube

    ?????

  • Yes, it is a totally different translation. :)

  • This is language is so mystical. ;)

  • @Anastasis300 its actually the best one i've seen. It's Irish Gaelic, not many can translate it because it's language is almost completely dead. But the song is about the Irish gaining independence from britan and being "free again" hence "now we are free"

  • @Anastasis300

Of course your interpretation of the global meaning of this song could very well be right! Great job.

  • @Attilahollo9 doesn't mean shit
